Exactly. If you want to highlight Wolverine, make him a leader while Cyclops is depressed about Jean, at his lowest emotional point, at least remind us why he was the leader the whole time. Show that the team is lost without him, that when he is committed to a goal, he will go get shit done, he was wrong about Sinister having Jean, but the moment he suspected, he quickly worked his way to this moment. Being a huge Cyclops fan, I get annoyed when Wolverine says some hypocritical bullshit about "Having a choice between being part of the team or disappearing to chase ghosts" When that's what Wolverine always does in every adaptation including this show, I was so satisfied to see him get an origin episode, and when Sinister kidnaps him and Jean, I was so happy to hear him savor the moment that he "captured two of the most powerful mutants on the planet" One thing that really pissed me off in the original trilogy is that Cyclops gets knocked out immediately in every battle he's in for the first 2 movies, and dies off screen under 10 minutes for the third. Wolverine & The X Men at least showed us how much he can kick ass, and Sinister even said so himself that he's one of the most powerful mutants. I wish we got season 2 with him serving Apocalypse, that was built up to be a serious threat.
Clancy Brown was a great choice as the voice of Sinister. He has that perpetually gravelly, intimidating sounding voice, but he portrayed a sort of gentlemanly restraint that fits Sinister perfectly.
@Dan Alexander Jacobson granted I was not an X reader as a kid, Spidey was my bag. But I don’t recall Sinister having that power in the comics. He was telepathic, could regenerate damage, Tony Stark level genius-but bit shooting power bolts from his hands.
Jacob McBaggins yea I hated the take on him in the ultimate universe. That X men series started strong but I thought it went downhill very fast and I read the whole run up till ultimatum
It’s so hard to believe that Cyclops in Wolverine and the X-Men was voiced by the voice of Nathan Drake, Nolan North. Insane voice acting. This show should have never gotten cancelled.
Nop, sorry brother but he wasn't created by apocalypse .... He was a scientist from the 18 century who experimented on him self and turned in to a mutant , THEN WAS FURTHER ENHANCED BY APOCALYPSE
Cyclops sounds JUST like Superboy from Young Justice- especially given that hell of a scream at 2:07. What do you expect when they're both voiced by Nolan North?
I slightly prefer X-Men Evolution, but this is very good (even with the overuse of Wolverine). If it had one more season, it would be the undisputed best.
Despite Luthor's voice I can't look at him without thinking of Master Oniro from Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm. He also looks very similar to Oroku Saki from TNMT 2003!
Hell he was going to have a solo movie with James Franco producing it and playing the character. But the Fox bought by Disney cancelled that and the other projects.
One of my favs. Marvel should do a show based on the Madrox Private Investigation Agency, especially since Agent Carter is being cancelled. I would love to see Domino and Wolfsbane as supporting cast.
yup, cyclops eye sockets are actually portals to a different dimension. he gets tired of shooting lasers the same way a normal person can get tired from looking at things.
Chris Claremont once said, "Cyclops could level a building with his power, while Alex Summers could level an entire city." Scott's upshot is his mind, not his ability.
You don't need to overpower a character (OmegaShmomega) for them to be cool. What made cyclops awesome was his ridiculously awesome leadership skills (thinking Dick Winters level from band of brothers) and his incredible athleticism/fighting skills. The X-men's trip to the Savage Land and subsequent Phoenix Saga are proof of that.
You: this was a great show! We got Sinister and Madrox! Me: cameos. Sinister was just there, no introduction, no 30 years of backstory. This show is frosting, no cake and the jangling keys of nostalgia are why you enjoy it.
I swore everytime i seen cyclops run the hands with the opps in this series it always made me see how this version of scott was similar to young justice’s version of Kon el was anytime someone pissed him off
I love Cyclops, especially this Cyclops. Dat Trenchcoat.
This outfit has so much drip, it might be my favorite. The bomber jacket with his 90’s outfit is a close second.
Trying to make a Cosplay of this Cyclops.
@@bccooper2418 this cyclops outfit was based on his x2 outfit I'm prtty sure

This Cyclops is what I needed in the Movie series

Cyclops acted like a total simp in this show while Logan was the total chad!
This was one of the best X - Men cartoons
1. The X - Men aren't just some teens.
2. The series are more like the comics.
@@Chico50445 absolutely 💯
Now we got the real one xmen 97
Clancy Brown was a great choice as the voice of Sinister. He has that perpetually gravelly, intimidating sounding voice, but he portrayed a sort of gentlemanly restraint that fits Sinister perfectly.
Mr Krabs no!
@Dan Alexander Jacobson granted I was not an X reader as a kid, Spidey was my bag. But I don’t recall Sinister having that power in the comics. He was telepathic, could regenerate damage, Tony Stark level genius-but bit shooting power bolts from his hands.
Apparently he will play the main villain in the Dexter reboot.
@@dkupke He did have that in the 90s cartoon. I don't think he has it in this.
@Dan Alexander Jacobson Britton's Sinister voice was cold, inhuman, evil, and almost robotic. It has something of a reverb to his voice.
We need more Cyclops in the X-Men movies. This scene proves why.
Man he got pissed!!!
NOW WE GOT THE REAL SCOTT IN XMEN 97
Yeeaahhh, he went beast mode!!😂
"You dare come after me as if sinister was the name of a common thug you could Intimidate .."
That line right there is why Sinister will always be one of my favorite villains.
ironically in the ultimate marvel universe that's exactly what he is
Jacob McBaggins yea I hated the take on him in the ultimate universe. That X men series started strong but I thought it went downhill very fast and I read the whole run up till ultimatum
That was a hardcore line 💯
Intimidate*
Holy shit, the voice acting is intense
SINISTER!!!

That was pretty hardcore for Cyclops.
They don't make good cartoons like this anymore besides Invincible

Lex Luthor? The hell are you doing in Sinister's body?
Haha, I knew I recognized that voice.
The Real Ellen Page clancy brown voice of lex and mr krabs
Same voice actor
Elijah Pittman Awesome voice actor

Nolan North, Crispin Freeman & Clancy Brown, all in one scene. Awesome.
Desmond Miles vs Lex Luthor
Delon Luu And Alucard. Seeing as both Multiple Man & Alucard are voiced by Crispin Freeman.
Shaun N Ince Ikr? :D
Shaun N Ince and Nathan Drake

Kairozdormu, Maraad, and Scourgelord Tyrannus in World of Warcraft, they are always together (role/act wise)

Smoskecreen from tfp
All I hear is Deadpool when he yells
It got cancelled just when it was getting really good.
They were going to adapt Age of Apocalypse.
Cyclops is a badass they give him enough credit
fun fact Mr sinister was created by Apocalypse himself that's why he's so powerful
Nop, sorry brother but he wasn't created by apocalypse ....
He was a scientist from the 18 century who experimented on him self and turned in to a mutant , THEN WAS FURTHER ENHANCED BY APOCALYPSE
2:07 pretty much the exact same scream that Nolan North uses for Superboy in Young Justice.
Shaun N Ince
And Zod in Injustice
Cyclops was sick in this episode
+SlyArno He hunted down sinister He koed blockbuster And archlight but before He
He got to be the rogue member of the team instead of Wolverine. So it just goes to show that being a leader makes you less cool.
@@trueblue6201 So Wolverine became less cool in this show?
Cyclops sounds JUST like Superboy from Young Justice- especially given that hell of a scream at 2:07. What do you expect when they're both voiced by Nolan North?
Now Mr. Sinister definitely has to be the main villain in a future X-Men movie.
Best X-Men show IMO. So pissed it got canceled.
This AND X-Men Evolution are the best modern day cartoon versions of the X-Men 🙏🙏💯😎
I slightly prefer X-Men Evolution, but this is very good (even with the overuse of Wolverine). If it had one more season, it would be the undisputed best.
FR!!!!!
I like the way Cyclops yelled "Sinister!" And screamed. This shows you never harm Jean and let Scott know about it.
I can't look at this Sinister without thinking of Lex Luthor from the animated Justice League
And Scott is voiced by Superman and Superboy from young justice.
Despite Luthor's voice I can't look at him without thinking of Master Oniro from Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm. He also looks very similar to Oroku Saki from TNMT 2003!
The ability to multiply yourself would be phenomenal! Best super power in my opinion
Cyclops needs his own standalone movie 🎥🎬🔥🔥🔥
I bet Cyclops hated the movie "Sinister"

Huh... this is probably the closest I've heard Sinister's voice, as I imagined when reading comics with him in 80s and early 90S.
Sounds Like Lex Luthor
what do you think of his voice in x-men 97?
nice hand to hand by Cyclops in conjunction with the beams

Damn... Clancy Brown... his voice just works so well with the evil villain mastermind archetype

As if Multiple Man stod a chance lol.
Infact even Cyclops can hurt Sinister and Apocalypse.
Multiple Man would have won but for the rest of the X-Men arriving.
Clancy Brown and Crispin Freeman vs Nolan North.

Mr. Krabs and Deadpool in different bodies.
Seriously Clancy Brown and Nolan North are great here
Cyclops really hates Sinister lol "Just....KEEP AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS!!"
