Building a Tableau Dashboard from Scratch for

In this longer format video, I walk through how to create a dashboard for #Makeover Monday from scratch. It's one example of how to create a dashboard in Tableau and could be used as a walk-through for beginners or for more advanced users.
I cover:
- Familiarizing myself with the data.
- Building a few test visualizations.
- Creating some calculations about how we're going to treat our data.
- Deciding what I like/don't like.
- Determining a purpose for the dashboard
- Arranging elements on the dashboard.
- Adding comments and commentary to the dashboard.
- How to lay out things on the dashboard based on how people read.
The idea is to capture all the raw thoughts that go through my mind while I'm working with data and trying to create a dashboard.

Can we add a variable input to the dashboard instead of assuming $20 an hour? If there was an input field saying: "How much is one hour woth to you?" and you could enter your own value this would be even greater.
