This might have been the toughest video up to now: we discovered this graveyard of oil rigs on the Gulf of Mexico on our trip from Dallas to Nashville. The area had been devastated by a series of hurricanes the last fifteen years and appeared like a ghost town. Climate change can be observed here very impressively. In this apocalyptic scenery we spent days to find someone with a working boat to take us out in the open sea to shoot this live performance. It was already pretty late on our last day in the area when we were introduced to Rodney, a diver who is out up to 8hrs fishing oysters with his bare hands every day. He was crazy enough to take us out. The oppressive scenery paired with extreme sun and very shaky waves made it VERY HARD to perform this even though we already have quite some experience with oneshot performances. Don't get me wrong - I love your music I love this video. But flying to America to make a video is part of the problem. I don't say don't do it. But keep it in mind. Never stop caring about it. Don't stop using resources, but use them wisely.
