Never buy a campervan made out of fiberglass.
Buy a good strong metal vehicle converted professionally into a campervan. We have a Fiat Ducatto.
We were at Lago di Garda in Italy in July 2023, and a massive hail weather event happened.
The huge hail destroyed most vehicles that were not solid metal.
The hail was so large it did break car windows, etc. It ruined everything for kilometers.
Our vehicle sustained so much damage but the body was intact. Our skylights were smashed, back light, side lights, and the vehicle was hail damaged. But we could still drive our vehicle away.
Most of the fancy fibreglass campervans were destroyed and leaking like sieves. Caravans, tents were destroyed.
