I've been listening to heaps of Vulfpeck lately and enjoying Antwaun's singing so much...so I was literally just searching the internet this past week looking for his work and wondering, "Where's all the other work from this gifted man?!?" And then I saw this! Yay!!!! So excited for you, Antwaun!!

I love the poetic eagerness here. The hurriedness. It's so fitting when discussing such a talented singer. It's not just about, "Let's hurry up and get Antwaun involved in case he eventually has someone else to work with," but also, crucially, "We might not know exactly what this song could _be_ until Antwaun's voice and *insight* is in it, and then we can keep working on it." It's not just voice-for-hire stuff. Like, the sense of collaboration is so prevalent. From a theoretical standpoint, the approach itself is admirable and romantic. But, cool also, the results of that approach really speak for themselves. Some absolutely wonderful music has come out of this practice.
