O so that's how you light the torches in my house. No wonder the game presets them

Yup
Definitely
Sure
It's à Child play...

I’m impressed with the game design, it seems very normal for experienced players to just run in grab the loot and leave but I’m impressed how many new players are able to find the secret room because of the design on the floor making them want to dig there then also falling into the tnt trap.
Very big chance they all actually knew, but play it for entertainment like they have fallen for the trap

I was thinking the same thing but decided to look past it to enjoy it for the entertainment it is. Lol
Eh play rlcraft. Thats some decent traps. It has break away floors. Ladders with pistons. Trapped chest, water and lava traps and many more. It kinda makes these look like they were made for 8 year olds.
I saw the title and I immediately thought "Okay, everyone is going to explode, right?"
and your right everyone died and lost everything
Yes

I didn’t expect these clips to be so recent, the floor pattern isn’t made of wool. Cool that people are still experiencing these structures for the first time
It feels like a mandela effect like weren't desert temples a part of minecraft since forever
It's been 8 years since the wool was changed to terracotta (at the time "hardened clay")
@@rohaankhan7523 Meanwhile, I bought the game in Alpha: weren't they added like a couple patches ago? 🤣
Holy shit righttr
@@AlluttajaYT its been 8 YEARS?……. Im old.
Props for the dev team designing the center of the pyramid interesting enough that players actually dig down
I remember myself in like 2012 when it came out digging the center wool block because of the design. I died with all my stuff
It took like 3 years to realize that there was a secret room, and just because i saw it on YT
I love how every single one just stood there after stepping on the pressure plate. Didn’t cross their minds to try building out or try running towards the hole they put in the wall lol
why woukld they? they have no idea whats happening. for all they know that could be more dangerous than staying there

You loose the treasure and also loose your whole inventory
Sad
@@pinnappel713 ur lame
I thought it was common sense to not step on a random pressure plate literally in the middle of the room of "Treasure" but i guess not
Imagine them alone at the white house with a red and suspicious button... Curiousity is a dangerous thing even when its an obvious trap, if they reasoned before acting they probably wouldn't fall for it
It is once you're not new anymore, but considering its their first time seeing these things, they probably don't know about pressure plates
The first time i went in one i figured I'd have to be careful somehow but didn't know what i was up against. Stepped on the pressure plate by accident. This was when temples were first released.
I thought SypherPK was smart but guess not
wel trust me everyone.did step it once especially in their first time
It's just an amazing psychological phenomenon that everyone falls for such an obvious trap first time they encounter it, and proceed to literally never fall for it ever again no matter how many desert temples they find
We should get more variations of dungeons and treasure structures for 1.19
well I hope you were happy

minecraft is actually so much more fun when u do everything and try to learn on ur own.
yeah me tow
i was wayching minecraft vid when i was 11 and that what made me really good at the game
Lesson learned. Stop spoiling games just because UA-cam let’s you.

Wow. I know all of these people are new to the game in these, but come ON, it's a pressure plate! It's not a feat of unusual reasoning to know 'don't step on the different, slightly raised platform.'
Especially that guy at 3:16 like he literally figured out it was a trap and avoided the pressure plate but then decides to step on it anyways like wtf u had it
Even I am smart but it still happen to me when I first time play this game
I doubt they knew what a pressure plate was
I didn't understand what it was when I found one when they were added to the game, but I still avoided the pressure plate, and I did not know what a pressure plate even did at that point.
@@birdgirl2235
So let me just step on this plate not knowing what it does-
It's very interesting how every player knows to dig in the center, even though nothing is telling them to start digging
Now that I think about it, the game design of this structure is very clever - with the light shining on the center, and the colored blocks
For years I just thought they were empty, had no idea I was meant to dig 😂😂
The first time i saw that the temple is not empty is when im getting the colored blocks for my house
That's tragic 😢
Yep, but it's good we didn't know...probably would have blown up anyway lol.
huh, I thought everyone just found out on their own, considering how different the centre spot is, so a fair assumption is that there was hidden loot somewhere or else the structure is useless, I can’t have been the only one who found like those wells in the desert and spent like 20 minutes digging around it trying to find treasure right? xd
The fact that I immediately break the pressure plate when I first saw this temple is actually p good when I thought it was just common to do that XD
i love how almost everyone finding a desert temple has a almost broken pickaxe!
Because of offscreen mining diamond

Gamers' reaction to first seeing a woodland mansion !
soon!
@@nopickles2866 Thank you.
Its useless because woodland mansion is not random and gamers try to find it after knowledge so what reaction do you want it would be nice if gamers putting the woodland mansion on fire
When I first saw a desert temple, first thing I did was break the violet block and immediately fall. Halfway through, I kinda regretted it.
Probably the worst experience I’ve had with a desert temple(worse than the first time I blew up) was when I mined down and a zombie fell down with me and set off the tnt without me even stepping on it
Try playing the ps3 version and a creeper had pre-spawned in the treasure room and stepped on the pressure plate and then my game IMMEDIATELY auto-saved so I couldn't do anything about it!
Yknow its a good thing they changed it from wooden pressure plate to stone a few years back. This makes the players more likely to die instead
Also, items can't set it off.
I never knew people exist that actually trigger this trap, never saw that before lmao...
all first minecraft players did that, dont act like you didnt at some point
@@_Cfocus No, it's fucking obvious to dig the pressure plate. These guys in compilation probably act for entertainment since even 11yo me and my 7yo sister didn't fall for this "trap"

the sypher clip is so funny 😂 he knew there was a trap there but he still stood on the pressure plate out of curiosity
I fell into the exact trap when I played Mc for the first time...i didn't know the golden rule of 'Never mine right under you' so i fell, was relieved that i survived the fall, then i heard the "Chhhhhhhhh" *BAM* 😔😔 never found my stuff afterwards bc I'm terrible at directions so i couldn't find the temple again😓
That's begginers!
your stuff will have blown up anyway
Yeahh stuff can blow up due to a second explosion anyways. Some person of this video survives the explosion but dies of fall damage. Now, that's gettin' lucky. Bc their stuff would be there still
@@albabelen5628 nope. The dropped stuff would set off the trap.
Thank you Sypher, for being one of the only ones to avoid stepping on the pressure plate, but at the same time triggering the pressure plate out of curiosity and getting yourself blown up.
I like how everyone's first instinct is to break the block in the middle
I want to feel that experience
When some of the structures were new, now we all know about all the structures ;-;
Na my pc isn't gonna survive
try mods, especially those ones like ice and fire or lycanites mobs that add a lot of content, including new mobs, structures, etc. I would say none of them feel as vanilla as vanilla structures but I’ve found the excitement to still be there
I like how everyone was so cautious about traps but ended up trigerring the trap anyways.
4:47 I actually thought he was gonna not touch the pressure plate
4:34 was my favorite. Literally looks at it, stands and waits 😂
Haha! So fun to watch others experience this building. I wish there were more of these kind of structures.
The first time for me was unforgettable. Especially because my 6 year old son tried to tell me and warn me about the pressure plate and thankfully I listened to him, a bit too late though 😂
It was awesome to experience it and especially playing the game with my son. Can be so much fun and it surprises me how much he can tell me about this game. Wonderful ❤️
I love these vids. “What does this do?” Lol
Yup I remember those days accidently blowing up a Desert Temple. I bet that was everyone's 1st try when it came to finding one.
Dude what triggers me is how NONE of these guys got it into their heads that a random pressure plate was suspicious but mineable...
Most of them were playing the game for the first time. When i played Minecraft for the first time i had no idea what a pressure plate was or that it could activate anything. Most of these guys also probably had no idea what a pressure plate was either
@@Skele_17 okay that is actually understandable.
Watching Jack play this part in Minecraft showed me to watch out for the explosion.
OMG thank for finding all these clips it must have taken a lot of time
I hope they create more overworld structures like this with traps or puzzle and create a lore
I bet the guys that built the temple and set those traps are still laughing even after they're long dead
this is something that happens to you only once because anytime you see a temple after that you get ptsd flashbacks from that first time
Love that they were all going right in And Marcel's like HOW THE FUCK DO WE GET INSIDE
I bet the guys who came up with the pressure plate didn't actually expect anyone to fall for it
Lol there reactions were priceless
The first time I found one I guessed that there was a room below, which I was impressed I guessed. Then I jumped down and heard the TNT sound, wasnt so thrilled afterwards.
Of course the 1 guy who didn't triggered it accidentally, triggered it out of curiosity.
I was really hoping there'd be at least ONE that didn't trip the trap.
there was going to be but then he decided to step on the plate for no reason lol
Welp, he wanted to know what the trap does so.. as they all say, curiosity kills the cat.
I'm impressed they could figure out there was something there under the floor at the first place.
When I first encountered a desert temple I was already familiar with pressure plates so I wasn't fooled.
Top 10 best clips of the year, #1:
It always amazes me when full time UA-camrs don't know how a microphone works and just peak the eardrums out of every one of their fans
Funny how not a single one was like "mmmmmmh maybe that random pressure plate is a trap?".
When I found my first and only temple I made into my home but for some reason I can't sleep when monsters are nearby even when I've enclosed the whole place
In that last clip when he said "Taylor you good"
I was expecting him to say "FINLAND"
It’s so funny how everyone is so cautious. First time I just hopped down on the pressure plate and blew up 😂
The face at 1:52😂😂😂😂
I loved the part with Vanoss's friends, absolutely great.
1:40 Good guess that there’d be four chests. Almost as if all these guys had been in desert temples before…
No they haven’t
Dude, Seán has eyes.
He can see the 4 chests.
Was I the only one who used a desert temple as a house after finding it first time playing?
I remember my first time finding one, I was a dumb kid at the time and I didn't even know any structures existed in Minecraft, a desert temple was the first one I'd ever seen and in my head I made up some theory that either a player or herobrine had snuck into my world and made it. Yes I knew about herobrine (from friends at school) before I knew about any structures. Long story short I broke the blue clay while standing on it and fell onto the tnt, died, then thought that the trap had been set by one of the above mentioned enemies and spent the next two hours rebuilding the temple and setting up traps to defend it from anyone.
Love the Stanley elevator music
I refuse to believe that the first time jack and pewd’s first time in the sand temple is AFTER the shield update!
I remember finding this and making my home, good time
Always break the pressure plate first. Breaking it will not set off the trap. It takes a mob or the player character's body to trigger the plate.
My favorite thing is most of them were sooo careful to get safely to the bottom… then just run straight onto the pressure plate😂😭😂

My first reaction too!
When I first saw it, I had this thought in the back of my head that something is sus, but I jumped on the grey button anyway
Sypher definitely handled it the best with the bedrock damage bs, at least his items didn’t get blown up unlike the others
I remember myself falling for this tnt trap so it's even funnier
Was no ready for the tom n jerry reaction at the start 😂
In my 1st desert temple, I even knew about the pressure plate(from YT videos) yet I still managed to accidentally blow myself up 😂 lol
I went to one of these with tamed birds and one of them landed on the pressure pad and blew us up. I was being so careful too
This afternoon i played minecraft with my veteran minecraft player friends watching. I found a desert temple, that is first time. Although it's first time i watch plenty youtube videos about minecraft that i know everything about the temple (or so i thought). I did ask them if there is a trap or smh and they say no. So i just dig to find my way down and when i arrived, i open the chest and found a golden apple, and i got blown up, just like the rest of the first timer, and all of my stuff are gone. They really laugh at me for that, but i understand because i know i'm still a newbie so i just kind of laugh along of how i did not see it coming. One of the best experience of playibg minecraft ngl
I played Minecraft for the first time when I was like 22 and my friends not only let me drop down into a desert temple, they all gathered around my monitor and watched
Poofessure really went "POOF" after stepping on the pressure plate 💀
0:26 Bros got that tom and jerry scream lmaov
I didn't expected the Tom and Jerry scream at the beginning
My first time playing Minecraft I had my veteran player friend show me how to raid the temple without setting off the tnt, so fortunately I've never been blown up by one, but it's sure as heck fun watching other people blow up 😂
You would think seeing a pressure plate would give some indication that there is a trap. That was the first thing I thought when I saw it for the first time in my world lmao.
Still remember stepping on the pressure plate and lost all my stuff in pocket edition. Memories.
it's really funny when they step on the pressure plate and hear something that's about go off and they're just waiting with their face like :0
I cant believe how impossibly rare big deserts have become in minecraft now. Its ridiculous. I almost have to travel as far as I do to get to a mansion just to find a temple.
"There's an obvious stone pressure plate in the middle of a bunch of chests. I'm going to promptly ignore and then stand on it."
Blinded by the loot, in the end they all get blown to kingdom come
love how their minds crash and it's so clear on their faces.
XD
I was extremely lucky to have someone tell me that it's a trap at the bottom, and I still accidentally set it off.
I'm good at Minecraft lol
The fact that the first guy was already pretty advanced in his game and still had no regards to step on the fucking plate
Me everytime they set off the trap: *chuckles*
The panic that goes thru your body💀
polarsaurus’s videos were so goated back in the day
I remember seeing the temple for the first time with no context. I thought the fall would kill me so I dug down but I wondered why there was a stone square and broke it. I ended up leaving the TNT behind, not realizing it was there and could have used it.
I remember my first time getting into one of these.
I knew the pressure plate meant SOMETHING, I took everything and I was curious and I stepped on it, at first there was a hiss noise and then the delay I though it was just a prank to scare people... It wasn't
I want to know whether or not they even know what a pressure plate is/looks like in Minecraft...
Sypher Plays´ scene was like a cartoon
Funny how they all instinctively dig up the middle part
I wish I could Forget Everything Ik about Minecraft and Re- explore it for the first time, and I would love to find out everything for myself. no game has ever made me feel the way Minecraft did while playing it for the first time, and knowing so little about it, back in Beta the first ime I seen a Enderman, just indescribable. I rememeber my first house Where I just walled off a small beach one flat wall and then walls the shape of the coast/cliff. Out chopping wood in the forrest surrounding my house when I seen it , and then it tele to me and I run in to my house and died, i think falling off my weird ladders running away lol
