I think, this song, is about dying and going to Hell. Think about it. "Theres no sympathy for the DEAD", "The sky opens up, dont get swallowed by the flames" , "Life is dead, but we're still alive, and down below. A sea of damned crashing like a tidal wave" .... Sounds like Hell to me. Kinda scary if you take out the happy, energetic voice singing it.
Myles Nutifafa could be but zombie apocalypse fits better sea of dead crashing like a tidal wave, pretty much any zombie crowd going out for food as well as other parts, just read the lyrics with the zombie apocalypse in mind

Thank you for this great song, even though it's 7 years old, it feels like 1000 and it gives me emotions and memories of 10000000 years, even though some I didn't live for real. It breaks me up and spits me out, the fact that you're not anymore in ETF, even though I hope to see you back with these kinds of songs in FIR, for our sake and yours too... Because these songs are that keep the memory alive of your talent, the talent no other vocalist has besides you :'))).
