@nbruno81 I've never had my images smear like that with glossy accents. I don't ever allow my tip to come in contact with the paper, I only pool it on top and only spread the glue with the tip above the image so it can't smear. I might consider using the epoxy stickers for a photo if you tend to have that problem. I use the regular thin plates that came with my Sizzix Big Shot. You could use other plates like Cuttlebug. It just needs to smash it thin. I hope that helps!
@soylucy19 I purchased mine blank. They are available for purchase in many colors online, but I don't know how to remove the coloring. Whether you could or not would probably depend if they are colored or if the metal is actually that color. If the metal is that color nothing is going to take it off.
hello from France !!! and thank for your tutorial ! would you please tell me how to attach the bottle cup to the lace or anything else like a pin for example ? Thanks
hi there im new in making bottle caps and im doing them for a party that we are hosting and want to give them out as a thank u for coming.....i did some with the epoxy and i tried to do some with the glossy accent but the finish product has bubbles when i left them to dry they had no bubbles so i fell to sleep confident that i did a great job but in the morning NOT the bubble is there can someone help in telling me why that happend and what can be done next time....thanks
how u get cleared bottle caps??? u wash them with alcohol? i'm watching a bottle cap rightnow and its painted red and maybe someone could respondme how to clear them!!! please :P
I find it's easier to use the clear epoxy stick-ons. They are easy to find on ebay. I bought the 1 inch size for mine. If you try to use Liquid Glass/Glossy Accents, I find it's better to put plenty on there so it makes a nice round bubble. You can try to pop any bubbles you see with the tip, but ANYTHING you see will only get worse when it dries, so get it out before drying. Also, I tap the bottle first to try to keep air out of the product in the bottle. I hope that helps.
Thanks for the video. I always enjoy your tutorials and have often wondered the best ways to use the bottlecaps. Thanks again, Gwen
I love this idea of putting the image on the top of the cap! Also, the lace or material on the back is beautiful!
Another successful embellishment tutorial! Really gorgeous :) TFS
