I have this exact issue on all my Milwaukee impacts. I've had both dewalt and Milwaukee. If you use your tools every day, expect this to happen in time. I just keep the chuck sprayed with lubricant frequently. Seems to help.
I just a metabo impact it absolutely blows my dewalt out of the water! I couldn't believe it, substantially more power, the battery has gone forever, I am sold! I took my dewalt out of my truck an put it in the shop after getting the metabo, an the battery recharges in half the the time. It takes 2.5 to 3 hrs I swear to charge my 6.0 dewalt battery an it will be dead in under an hr of use! 😤
Shove the bit onto that wood. Hit the trigger in reverse. It will come right out. I have this issue in my Milwaukee with every bit I use damn near when I’m driving lots of screws at a time. It just gets jammed in there a little bit.
Dont use harbor freight bits

It’s not dewalt it’s GRK. My makita doesn’t like the paint they use on the bits either. I usually scrape it all off of male end with a utility knife.
Pull the collar, it’s spring loaded. Pushes right out. Better than dropping the bit, especially when you’re on a ladder or a roof.
No they do. The chucks always break on Milwaukee
That Justin Timberlake song comes to mind… cry me a rivaaaah… oh!.. cry me a rivahhh.. oh!.. cry me!,… cry meeuhhh!, cry me a river boiiii 😂

Lol, dewalt is the easiest and best at inserting and removing the bit, of all the tool brands.
Oil the shank
Stop using cheaply made bits.
Try using two hands? Maybe?
Idea. Dont buy Dewalt
Milwaukee.
Welcome to using your tools
Thats literally every brand.
