Y'all did a phenomenal job....what patience you must have! Couple questions: How much did the van weigh before the build. When building, did your lack of mpg in fuel affect uour decision making? It appears it didn't.
Thank you!! We didn’t weigh the van before we built it out, but looking online it’s probably around 6,000 lbs empty. Lowering the mpg did not affect our decision making on the build (maybe it should have, but oh well!).
No, Mike mentioned in the video that our water tank wasn't filled, so we are keeping an eye on how much weight capacity we have left as we add more weight.

Nice work, on the toe kick drawers l used push to open drawer slides. It makes them a lot easier to use. Things are looking good. Was your water tank full when you had it weighed? 👍
Push to open toe kick drawers are a great idea! No, the water tank was empty, so we are accounting for that as we add more weight while we're finishing up the build. We may have to use it less than full until we can make some upgrades.
You guys are doing a great job thanks for all the tips and tricks we are halfway through our van build any tips on how to keep motivated when every decision has to be custom and we spend half her life at Home Depot.
Thank you! Staying motivated has been really hard and honestly, at times the build sucks. We try to remember why we started it in the first place, and seeing others on IG or UA-cam traveling in their vans is a good reminder for us to keep going. We have also taken a few breaks throughout the build for vacation time, avoiding burnout as best you can is definitely important.

Is that weight full of fuel, supplies, water etc. hopefully you figured that as well…it all adds up

Yes! They are sturdy but heavy :(
