Late again?! 😭 one day, I’m going to be the first comment. Lmao another awesome vid Naomi! (Yes, that’s right. Vid.) lol You should post multiple vids a week. I’m sure you’re Wonder Woman on your off time lmao but we’d love to get more content. Keep em coming.. I can’t believe 2024 is already over?! Seems like it just started but it was an excellent year for gaming. I personally spent way too much money so my hat goes off to Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, & Steam. Lol my personal favorite game wasn’t chosen but Dragon’s Dogma 2 was definitely my choice for GOTY. What games did you choose Naomi? What about everyone in the comments? Always interesting to hear everyone’s thoughts. I’m guess Astro Bot. Lol just a hunch. Naomi you are so right, Overwatch. The right way to do it is Marvel skins. Lol Marvel Rivals is fun but I wish there was a little more that sets it apart but overall it is a ton of fun. If Pokémon and Pal World have a lawsuit, then how is Digimon not included? Can’t we all just get along?! Lmao Happy Holidays everyone. Awesome episode Naomi!
So long to 2024! 👋🏼. The gaming industry seems to be on an overall negative spin to date, but there are still rays of hope from within, as you and Kah highlighted. Thanks again for the show, Naomi, and a huge applause to you and Josh for it!! I wish you the happiest of holidays and may the new year be better and brighter for you and yours. 😀🎄🌟
As much as AI can ruin the human element of games and game development, there's obviously a lot of untapped potential that corporations understandably want to leverage. It can speed up the dev process while cutting costs and removing much of the tedious labor. It won't be going away anytime soon, so might as well embrace it.
What kind of "untapped potential"? As far as I'm concerned, so far, all they seem to be concerned with is the latter part of your comment, thus making the games objectively pretty terrible on multiple levels (art, gameplay, story, etc).

Agreed on all points
