First of all, there is need to understand "the revolution"...... there is need to know the exact definition..... In a simple term, Revolution is a change of system.....
At the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ there was need to change the established system (it included believes and other things) ..... So, the revolution have been done by prophet Muhammad ﷺ .... Now due to long time , people changed the certain things of revolution, Now there's need to reform that system..... That's why many scholars of the day are reformist..... I hope this is the answer of the question....
