Russel is nervous of Mojo. Mojo is gentle about scaring puppy. It is like they are both nervous. It is very sweet.

Russell is a gorgeous pup. You picked the most handsome pup for sure. He's going to be a great addition to the farm. Glad you are doing a lot of work with him. I hate when people just throw their LGD'S in the field and don't mess with them, it's proven that you don't have to be hands off for them to be awesome guardians.
As they've proven with both Leeske and Kora. Both were babies when they got them.

Those little bees are shes! The females are the worker bees and keeping the hive stocked with supplies while the other shes are looking after the queen and feeding the brood.
The “come” command is the first one you should train. This is for safety reasons-primarily the dog’s safety but in any situation you need the pup redirected.
Mojo is a Gentle Giant. Russell is adorable.
Mojo is being very careful, and Russell is just unsure of the big white stranger. They will eventually get along. Since Russel has to watch out for the goats getting him, he seems uncomfortable with Mojo. It will get better as he gets bigger.
Can't wait to see more of Mojo and Russel together and being best friends!!

Keep a pocket full of treats and spend one on one time with him to bond. Then he will follow you everywhere. I had a yorkie and a medium sized yellow lab/terrier mix. Both were fanatic off leash and never ever had a potty accident. First two weeks of owning each dog, I took off of work and had a pocket full of small treats. We did basic training and learning the doggy door non stop. I never left the house and they learned super fast. It’s worth the effort and you end up with awesome dogs that listen and follow you everywhere
Neither dog will be a house dog, though. They will both be guardian dogs. Mo and Russell need to be good buddies, and Russell needs to get attached to all the goats and other animals.
I agree, but doesn’t mean he can’t learn basic commands and how to
follow him around the yard and not pee on carpet. For some reason, I thought I heard them say he would be guarding the house too. No matter what, he’s a beautiful dog

@@ytkimberly4629 unusually cold, we had the coldest Easter on record, was below 0. My area had got hit with ice rain on eclipse day but no difference in the sun. No darkness. Strange how that works huh. In Alaska where I live we always seem to miss the cool stuff lol
It was sweet to see Mojo and Russell meet each other. They will become the best of friends once they start working together. Russell is growing by leaps and bounds. It's so good to see all the bees gathering pollen from the flowers. I'm so glad that you don't spray the flowering weeds in your yard, and allow the bees a chance to gather the pollen for food. Hopefully you get a good crop of honey from all this.

My current Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Called Junior is watching this on my phone and he’s very emotional atm. He loves watching this channel. Especially before we start the day. My family recently stopped breeding Anatolians but we always have at least two at home any given time. Currently we have five and the most at once we had 14. We love them to bits. My Junior is actually going blind and he’s 3 years old. He’s mainly nearsighted but he’s still a great livestock guardian dog and loves to talk.
Every night he sleeps next to my bed because I have severe panic attacks and night terrors and even as a very young pup he would calm me. Needless to say if we try to get him to sleep outside he looks like: what?! I sleep there?! Surely you mean one of the other dogs?!
And we just laugh. So he gets the luxury of sleeping next to my bed. Funny fact though. He does: dry dog farts if I feed him a little before bed. And it makes me GAG! I tell him go on get and he just sniffs it and wags his tail looking proud as punch.
Russel is also a beautifully marked boy. And he’s got to grow into those paws😂much love from Australia

Sounds like Junior found his job: helping you at night. That is so great when they know what is needed and basically train themselves for that job. And with him having vision problems, he being in the house helps both of you. ❤

I can say from experience that Russell was not afraid of Mojo because the hair on his back didn't stand up. Mojo was thinking, "please read in his voice" well this isn't a goat or any other farm animal and I better be nice to him because I heard one day he's going to be almost as big as me and by then I'll be old and may not be able to defend myself if he picks on me. 😊 Yes it will take time for them to interact and before you know it they'll be best buddy's. ❤🧓 From Miami Florida where it's a beautiful 75° with mostly clear skies with a slight breeze. Why do people skies? There's only one sky. 🤔🤭😏😁❤

Loved this unplanned spontaneous video! Fun to watch Russell's intro to Mojo. I didn't see any animosity between them; I'm sure they'll get along fine. I know Mojo loves to play with Skeeter and am sure in time he'll have fun with Russell as well. I've never seen the goats basking and relaxing in the sun like that. There's such Peace on your farm.

I loved watching Mojo and Russell meeting and cautious curiosity. You can tell Russell has learned from his interactions with the goats that you need to respect space and I think he wants to respect Mojo's space because he doesn't know his tolerance level. He might even have felt Mojo was annoyed by his friend Skeeter and he didn't know if he was annoying him too.
Russel is growing big and hansome new guard dog; Mojo seemed like he wanted to meet him at first, but then he quickly went to protect his front porch when he noticed Russel going around towards that area. He was like: " Hmm, I'm not really sure about what's going on, so, I'm staying here where my territory is". Hopefully, they get to be friends soon. And I guess, the guys at the shop there for recycling iron had a giggle about the hidden eggs the chicken collected. The hens must have been like: "Oh noo, away our eggs are going". All our hard work took off. Poor chickens. They have to start all over again.

Here in north Louisiana we’ve had nothing but rain and thunderstorms for the last two days and it’s predicted for tomorrow too. Luckily I got my mowing done before it rained. I had nothing but weeds. Now my grass will come up.
