Thank you so much for posting this- incredible honor to here a legend like Tony speak about Disney… the magic of Tony’s era of WDI seems long gone unfortunately
What an absolutely wonderful gift you’re giving us with this series. My wife and I are artists. She a painter and me, a songwriter (he said, without a shred of self interest, completely unaware that his sub-psyche longed desperately to participate in the soundtracking of such ambitious endeavors these creators may undertake next). We love to participate in the observing of discussions on the creative process, and it never fails to enrich our own experiences by listening to masters elaborate on their choices and rationalities. I’m a few episodes in - and I’m grateful. It speaks volumes about your lifelong devotions to creativity, that with the access you have, you’ve opted to let us into those conversations.
Also one of my big questions then is how does Jason chandler fit into mysterious island, which is in Japan right...is there a timeline of events, where Jason chandler is involved in rescuing Nemo? Because mysterious island happens after LUTS in Verne lore right..but in disney's LUTS he dies and Jason Chandler finds the nautilus? So is the Nautilus in Discoveryland meant to represent the nautilus when it's recovered by Jason Chandler after the events of LUTS, then it goes on later with Jason Chandler at the helm to Mysterious Island, instead of Nemo, or is Mysterious island before where Nemo is building the Nautilus I guess? So no giant monsters then... Is that where the diorama connects in tomorrowland? Is it different in Disney lore? He mentioned about finding Nemo's skeleton...? Are Mysterious Island and Vulcania two different places as it seems like in the Verne lore, vs Disney lore, or the same? I guess I can hopefully ask next time. Also then did he have a role in the lore of Zombies? Because it seems like Jason Chandler has something to do with the moonstone in Disney's Zombies and Seabrook? Has he seen that? I also then have about a bazillion questions about tomorrowland 2055. lol
OMG the discovery bay story is amazing I never heard it all in detail amazing! The tv show has Mark Rhodes as the creator of Jason chandler is that right?
Actually, Tom Scherman and Tony Baxter started the story and created the characters. Later so much was done and added on to keep it alive. Former WDI show writer Mark Rhodes was part of that continuing effort.
@@zeitgeistdesignandproduction Oh wow! Tom Scherman who was the expert on the Nautilus, and created the one in Paris, so he helped with the original story?? Ok yeah he was in the credits as well. Fascinating ok thanks! So he was friends with Harper Goff I guess who created the one for the movie right... So the pilot they produced was done a long time after the first attempt at the show he mentions in this I guess is the difference?
@@zeitgeistdesignandproduction Do you know why Jason Chandler's paddle is for the Elaho River in tropical hideaway? There was a plotline/attraction for Jason related to Discovery bay I guess and that, but I've had trouble finding any source for it, or any details? Was that part of his search for the Nautilus or a different story?
Is his time machine the original prop or a remake? That's so incredible! I had seen photos of him with it but i thought it was in a museum or something not in his house! lol Did you guys build that for him? The original is a museum right?
Tony's time machine is the one from the movie and yes it's in his house! We have the time machine that was used in The Pageant of the Masters in our office!
@@zeitgeistdesignandproduction Ahh so it's no longer in that museum, i was maybe wanting to go see it one day and take a trip I guess I'll forget about that then! lol
Hi! Yes, it will be live on Friday July 14th at 12pm PST. We will post the event on Eventbrite. You can use this link to subscribe: www.eventbrite.com/o/zeitgeist-design-amp-production-34253615549
While we appreciate your comment, we have the beginning included so you can see the images throughout each passengers career. The introductions are for the guests coming onto the zoomcast in real time. We've considered that most people viewing can either mute the intro or skip it. Our podcast version of each flight does not include that intro.

omg wut, I could have asked him questions?
Correct - we do a live Q&A after our show. Join us on July 14th and you can ask questions too!
Definetly need to work on the start of the podcast with the multiple introductions, it gets to be too much, but it is a fantastic podcast.
