59:30 The problem is that apparently there was a bug with swap cancelling not ending direct buff uptime - CN TC thought it was deliberate, Kuro apparently thinks it's a bug and has removed it from live. Those same TC say that thanks to this Encore should be the stronger standard DPS now, although judging from the huge nerfs today all of this has to be redone.
@@faltusdaniel5661 datamined 1.0 leaks; basically on paper all of the non-limited characters got absolutely gutted and calcharo took the biggest hit of all. the numbers are out of context because we don't know if anything else was changed like animations, enemy hp, etc. but on paper virtually every strong non-limited DPS took a major nerf. the exception is dinjin (who got a slight buff) and then for some inconceivably reason they chose to buff varina.
Remember that Danjin couldnt be used as a benchmark due to her special case... if you skilled, then good.. she can be higher if not, then pretty much she's useless if you keep dying in 1HP.. because there are a lot of other option that are safer even if its lower ST damage.. And she's poor in AoE and some Tower stages... even if you add grouper
I enjoyed listening to everyone's thoughts. I think if you were to do something similar again, it would be a big help to explain the goal of the tier list and what criteria you are thinking of for placing characters in the different tiers. I feel like your (general you/not you specifically) tiering decisions wavered between characters that will be useful within the first 3 months, characters that will be useful in the tower, characters that will be the most future proof, characters you will not regret investing in etc. If someone asked me, and no one did 😂 I would have based the tierlist on the characters who will be most useful in the first 3 months and noted when characters might be more useful if a certain character or character type comes along. Like Rover supporting a Spectar (?) dps that doesn't exist yet. Mostly this was commenting for the algorithm god to bless your channel. You have a lot of talent as a creator! Good luck!

6:07 the game is leaving itself plenty of runway. I believe the day 1 content will be pretty casual. Having everything be pretty tame will allow them to ramp up the difficulty for modes and events while introducing some cooler passives and new toons
How big of a change are the characters getting in the final release? I know the devs mentioned Jianxin getting some changes to how she plays. regardless, I'll still be puling for her.

Btw, something that I haven't seen being mentioned. Maybe because most of you already played the game. Me as a complete beginner, and my group of friends, we worry that... Who knows, maybe we won't be able to have good dodges. I'm pretty sure with time you will end up getting better. In Genshin I got to the point where I can do 36 star Abyss without having a healer in my team(though it's not really dodges and parries in Genshin). So maybe I can play this game with dodges as well. I want to get good at them. But this is the issue I have, and what Imo could have been mentioned. Baizhi, and all those other healers/shielders, I do want to build them. Like, at least 1-2 before I get Verina. Mostly just so I can heal myself when I fail at dodging and so on. I remember in Genshin when I first played the game. It felt pretty trashy to not have a healer at all. My only healer was Noelle xD. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that would do this, so maybe it would have been worth mentioning, like... "Build this character if you want to learn more about the game". Or something like this. Most probably I'll go for Baizhi, unless I get Jianxin or Verina early on. Also... Idk how the game is without healers. Is it playable if you just use food to heal up? Or stuff like statues in Genshin, if there are? This is a piece of info I'd like to know about the game

As someone who played PGR, I got better in dodging by stopping my attacks then wait for them to attack then dodge at the right time. This may slowdown your combat but hey you will not get hit, Im better now at dodging without stopping my combos.
@@LalalalaMhie this method is probably totally fine. Once you know the fight really well, you can push the DPS windows further. People are getting too nervous about the combat in this game for 90% of this content

tc is generally done by ppl that enjoy either the math or the optimization aspect, but if you dont care abt either of those you can just follow advice you get for your favourite characters and ignore 'must pulls' that you might not care about like verina or yinlin, games are made to have fun, if optimizing your acc isnt fun for you just focus on building your faves
