Guerom del toro is doing "At The Mountains of Madness" but I agree, they have been horrible. There is a film for Color Out Of Space with Nicolas Cage. Probably already seen it but its a Pretty good movie. Another one; that takes ideas from Lovecraft is "In The Mouth Of Madness" that is actually my favorite horror flick.

hbo made a true compelling master piece with love craft and for whatever reason obviously did not continue the show which imo is an epic fail but Netflix is just garbage.... imo the hbo wizzards did not continue the show cause it's too powerful without getting in details but they did kill the shows' star character in a blood thirsty sacrifice that permeated/reflected his real life if you know what i mean........got my eye on these wizzards

I'm not really too sure about this one. It looks like a low budget film to me. It might have some good parts in the movie but I'm not sure if it would be worth watching overall.

lovecraft had amazing ideas but sadly those movies lack the budget the movie looks Z grade.

@@m1hfn2f it's just fun. It's not trying to be anything impressive. It's a low budget Indi film, and honestly the practical effects are pretty good in a few scenes. Try not to think of films this way, there are no bad films, only bad ideas behind them.
Are you telling me no actual studio wants H.P's story rights? I really don't get it. Who's in control of his estate? I want to know who got the money for this...
They free :D. U can create a Movie, Comic whatever of his work without spending a dime on rights. No one holds rights on it.
Guillermo del Toro wanted to make a At The Mountains of Madness movie, but has not got any studio to produce it.

All of HP Lovecraft are very good I have loved every book that he's ever done the reason why they probably won't put a whole lot and movies like we really want them to is because they had a lot of racist comments and characters throughout a lot of his storytelling he looked at the white male and female as perfection and everyone else was righteously just a mongoloid race on amalgamation of lower DNA basically I'm mixed everyone in the world is mixed no one is pure that's just how it is if you want genetic diversity and many different people on the planet everyone can't be just one race they were all just end up ceasing to exist after too much DNA from the same sex of people combined over and over and over and over again without anything changing within their DNA like I said I love HP lovecraft's work I don't like nor agree with the racist comments tendencies and names that he had for the culture for the people and for the names of some of the creatures no one can disagree with me on that if you have delved yourself deep into the lovecraftian history my only hope is that as you reach the end towards his life that he changed his mind and didn't see everyone else has lowered beings but hey if you do your reading I'm pretty sure you'll see manual here so still my love this content just not his ideology when it comes to describing certain people of certain ethnicities
