I am getting 53 out of the box on 6s completely stock. Only thing I did was bring up the trim tabs about 1.5 turns. It is such a fun boat I am enjoying mine.
I am well pleased for that boat buddy she is just class looking in the water and sounds amazing
Thank you! I agree! It's super cool looking just bobbing in the water
Whoever is watching these do props and trim tab adjustment first. A 48mm is way bigger than the sonic wake needs. The octura x642 is great for the stock motor and esc. Can bash it through the whole battery and not overheat it. Octure 645 if you upgrade the esc or fine tune the boat to run on the edge of performance. Not good for wot constantly!
I put Castle in all my RC cars!
Really hoping for a follow up vid, wondering if ur motor held up I was doing the same build, same motor and have had two rotor failures in a VERY short period, motor and esc are on the way to castle hoping they can make sense of it
your videos have helped a lot and. I was wondering if you know how too fix a mamba monster x 1515-2200kv sensored combo has forward and reverse switched and when I reverse the throttle on my tx it's faster in reverse. Thanks for ur time.
8s....its gonna grow WINGS!!! 😅😅😅
Let's hope not 😂
big difference in speed bro. nice 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 🙏
Nice run brother! Go ABC props, and remove that on board camera, you will soon be in the 70's... :D
Thanks for the advice! I agree, I won't have the camera on at over 60 mph it isn't safe to have that weight on top. To this will likely be the highest speed we will see with the camera on. Unless I decide to be stupid 😂
Where in FL are you located? Would love to check out the shop. Awesome content
Deerfield Beach Florida!
Put 8s on it, you will be in the 80's with that prop. Run it too.. Then it really starts to get exiting. Maybe the rotor blows or hull breaks, but that would be good content too...
Next two videos we will see!
@@InnovationRCwhen will we see level 5 and 6? I just blew the stock motor on 8s at 72mph so I’m curious what yours does and what speed and temps you get
You need to go back to stock motor with that prop, I’m running a higher kv and running 4s and I got 55mph
I wanted to see you runs yours before I run mine because I bought 6 of the cnhl innovation rc packs. I wanted to see how they held up on yours maybe even with data logging before I ran mine not cause I’m in competition with you… my boats have been over 100mph for almost 20 years now.. I’ve got nothing to prove.
I appreciate that, I know they are heavy but they last awhile so I enjoy using them. The next video I am going to release with the Sonicwake will be running 8s, stock prop. Fast, but still isn't the fastest being there's a kv drop I'm the motor I'm running. Hands are tied with editing videos at the moment have a lot on my plate. But the video will get finished this or next week.
@@InnovationRC looking forward to it. Mines got the xlx2 and 1515 for now. The lower kv 1520 can be just as fast it just needs a more aggressive prop. It’s all relative. It’s not like this is an optimal speedrun boat it’s just a fun boat. That’s what it’s about anyways or at least it should be.
mira esooooo
Yo don't swing sides don't forget about the cars
They aren't forgotten, they are getting updated!
Are you in florida? Are you coming to ARRMAGEDDON!?
I am in Florida yes! But I am unsure, I want to go but I'm driving to North Carolina the day after, so I have to try and make something work!
@@InnovationRC cmon! This event was MADE for you!
I don’t know how you got any speed with that monster camera
Well we can only go up without it then! Haha
Nice passes B, what prop did u go with?
It's an Octura x648
Turn the camera 90 degrees
I’m sorry but, I have to say it. You have wasted 500+ dollars for no reason! I don’t know if you’re trying to push castle products or what but all you need to do is upgrade the prop and adjust your trim tabs. That thing is running so wet, it should be a submarine! It also doesn’t help that you’ve got those massive batteries in there and a Camera adding weight.
Absolutely correct! 2 10,000 batteries, for 2 minutes, makes no sense.
good thing it wasn’t your money. let the man have fun and enjoy making videos on his hobby.
@@deanmcevoy5191 Again, low to mid 60’s can be achieved with stock electronics by changing the prop ($70 size 1644) and simply adjusting the trim tabs. This series seems to be a paid sponsor especially with the product tab and stickers everywhere.
Castle products are great and I have some myself; however, I’m also able to achieve better than 75mph after upgrading which is a bit more bang for the buck than spending $500 and still sitting in the 50’s!
But hey you’re right, go ahead and spend the money!
again, not your money. but you are correct in your analysis good sir
@@deanmcevoy5191 Right! Saving other innocent people’s money.
Honestly…missing the car content…couldn’t really care less for boat stuff.
Also…why the hell are you putting a literal brick battery in a boat. Just seems like a sales promo for “your” batteries.
You'll get car content. Was trying the boat stuff for a little
Boats need much more battery than cars. I was running 10ah packs in boats 15 years ago. The problem with this boat is that huge pack throws the cg off at stock speed levels. I have 4 of the 10k packs in my catamaran.
