I love the original, this version and the live acoustic one I've seen somewhere. How many songs would sound really good with different gender vocals? Her voice sounds top when it distorts for a split second on the higher, louder bits. Ace marriage 💜
@@MusicToPlease Thanks for your reply, it's a great track the Nouvelle Vague is bit cleaner but still great. I'm trying to get into recording myself but I'm trying to get a friend of mine who I think will be great vocally and likes different genres than my usual stuff so will bring new drinks to the party. I prefer playing and singing to sound engineering but funds lacking it's a necessary evil. Mainly for enjoyment but I wouldn't turn down chances to have other people sliding sliders, untangling cables and watching red peak lights, it's all a real mojo-blocker. Hey ho at least I don't have to communicate with a real live drummer shouting orders lol.
Most definitely the BEST cover!
One of our favourite cover versions
A wonderful cover by Dido of Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy" recorded for BBC radio 2.
Dido has the ability to open me up. Just one of the most beautiful artist/musician/singer songwriter out there. ❤
It isn't her song it's Bronski Beat.
I love her version of this classic 80s song.
These stills are as good as any video clip. Well done!
Thank you, we endeavour to choose a set of images that capture the intent of the song
High Level 👏🌹❤️
Superb version her voice is quality .
We love this cover version, her voice carries the song so well.

It's such a brilliant song, hence so many covers. This is one of my favourite covers, Nouvelle Vague also do a good cover which we'll post soon.

I’d love to hear Sinead O’Connor, Beth Gibbon, Steve Nicks, and other Aliens sing this
This is even safer than the original Bronsky Beat Version.
We like this cover version with the acoustic guitar and Dido's vocals.
It's just a cover of Bronski Beat megahit.
you dont get it .. . its a US thing no offence
