@@JivoDraws if you listen to more of peeps old music (before his label hijacked his soul) there’s so much more emotion and genres and styles and tones and beats. and peep didn’t just throw random sad words together to make a “emo song” his lyrics were so multidimensional and deep, he was a poet and a true artist.
I still think juice is a legend cause he made so much music in only 2 years and could freestyle like crazy and x is a legend for me because he changed his ways and it made him a better person
Peep in my opinion had a huge impact on the industry too. I dont listen to him too much anymore, but he helped with a lotta shii i had goin on in my life fr. For me it was like that one homie that could talk to you for days non-stop. When i listen to X at the same time i didnt got that feeling of having someone beside me chillin. But just my opinion, he said himself that he is doing music for people to feel less alone than theyre.
Lil peep had hundreds of millions of combined views before his death, n it didn’t take many songs to make that figure. He created his own genre n had many ppl tryna imitate his sound n had a lasting impact on the industry. With no Peep there is no Juice Wrld and we all know how talented Juice WRLD was.
100% disagree Lil Peep did not create his own genre emo rap existed way before Lil Peep picked up a microphone people like bones and Yung Lean are the Pioneers of emo rap and XXXTENTACION is the one who popularized it Lil Peep literally died before he started to blow up in the main stream. As much as I love Lil Peep’s music he is not a legend maybe an Emo legend, but he did not create his own genre
thank you. i really think calling his music ''drug hyped'' was just not giving it the proper closure and honestly kinda disrespectful, peep had a lot going for him, and he was peaked before his death which this creator was wrong about.
I remember hearing ‘Vice City’ for the first time smoking in the back of an old honda-crv. Man, I miss X. He really is a legend. Props to everyone else, however I too had a special connection to X’s music.
You have no idea of the potential Lil Peep was showing in his final year of music, He would of been a legitimate popstar within 2-3 years tops. He had an uncanny ability for wirrting catchy melodic music. Personally in my eyes he is already a legend.
X juice and peep shaped a genre of rap after their passings . The status they had and following was genuinely legendary, some shit that’s rare nowadays especially what they did in a small time , what makes them a legend is their impact after they died .
all that peep needed was to escape his label and management, which is truely believe he would’v if he had time. His last album he was working on with ilovemackonen, shows that he wasn’t just sticking to sad emo music. he wanted to be more than that but sadly that’s not where the money was at the time.
@@JivoDrawsagain, he did. Look up collabs he did with fall out boy and marshmellow before he passed. Great vid and all but you missed his potential by a longshot. I would say this more about von and pop who died before breaking out of the drill genre.
Juice is definitely more than a maybe, he is a legend, he is the most versatile on this list, he freestyles on and any type of beat, he could have adapted to almost any new wave that trends if he was still around
Exactly and just look at the song that recently got put out out "doomsday" I hate when people classify him as an "emo rapper", is completely destroying an Eminem beat while classic rapping an emo rapper?
If the whole world had access to juice’s unreleased library, they would see he has a song is pretty much every genre and still made it sound good, music is a very opinionated topic so theres not really a right or wrong answer for if his music was “good” but nobody can deny the talent he had for it
Nahhh Bro it's always the X fans disrespecting Juice 😭 Comparing Juice to Iann Dior is crazy tbh, if u listen to Juice WRLD's unreleased you'd see he is more than emo rap 😭 (both X and Juice legends for sure! LLJ & LLJW 🙏)
I would say juice is a legend for having a impact on a generation all the kids who heard his music will remember all the lyrics to lucid dreams until they grow old and senile. I think because he could just freestyle a whole song he would’ve had longevity because there would be no writers block bro really just rapped how he felt in every moment along with his freestyling he was one of the biggest rappers with probably infinite resources. What im saying is if they needed a different writing style he could have co writters on a song to make improvements or a pre written song that juice could make adjustments to. And he showed he could make mega hit pop songs like with marshemello “ come and go” and juice has unreleased songs with the chain smokers
Bro i get it about peep but being fr he was gonna be a legendeverything from his voice and his lyrics. peep actually impacted the youth and saved lives. i think his lyrics wouldve been what separated him from others i mean "i wanna take my life just to give it to you" thats beautiful, and the youth wouldnt forget him meaning he wouldnt fall off and have a strong fan base. i think his music genuinely woulda changed the world man
@@JivoDraws yet you say pop smoke would've went down in history like his entire sound wasn't ripped off from the UK and like every song he made didn't sound the exact same lmfao people pass english and watch sunnyv2 once and think yeah i can do that

I think both juice and peep were on the path to greatness, but X was for sure a legend, he had a impact on a whole generation and only did it within a 2 year span. He in my opinion is one of the GOATS, and he was still changing and becoming even better as an artist.
juice fans know that he wouldnt be makin music w mgk he was moving on from sad to hype music the album he was gonna drop called "outsiders" wud be full of hype stuff juice is one of the greatest freestylers so yea he is a legend
@@JivoDraws depending on the situation of the rap game i think he wud hv tried some new stuff ex: rage or drill but i dont think he wud go back to sad music
@@JivoDraws honestly juice showed time and time again he can really change it up it wasn’t as experimental as x but it was really good in its own way leak songs like k like a Russian, tattoos and ink, bussin and ktm drip kind of show the direction he was gonna go in
i mean, idk if you know much about leaks or even listen to them, but it’s so easy to see Juice would have adapted as years passed. juice fans keep track of leaks n stuff by era, and the time from Gb&Gr era (music made before Gb&Gr release) to JW3 era (everything after DRFL till his death) he had developed his sound into so much more and was branching into rock and heavy metal, even starting to dive into what sounded like an early version of rage. it’s honestly harder to find a sad/emo rap song in juice’s most recent work before his death, and even then he developed the emo rap sound further than i’ve heard anyone like Iann Dior or even Trippie take it.
People will talk about their opinions on music legends and then portray juice as a sad soundcloud rapper with a middle school fanbase. Thats I immediately disregard what they said since they clearly know nothing 😭
Honestly I was in peeps last concert on El Paso Texas, and I could really feel the potential of his music and his way of connecting with the feelings of people. He was something else. Not just drug hype
Ayy thank you man I actually only have 3k cause I used to make gaming videos years ago, I’ve gotten rid of those videos to start my UA-cam back up and I’ve gotten around 90 new subs so far! It’s only the start. Gonna do more videos like this in the future so expect that 😎
lil peep imo is a legend due to his creativity and the way he was able to blend genres effortlessly, his style, his personality and everything about him was so unique to me, if he got more time to improve he would have been a certified legend to more people.
The JuiceWrld disrespect is crazy, saying he would turn out like Ian Dior or even MGK is so far from the truth, he is the definition of evolution in music, pushing the emo rap era, then evolving with it into the many sub genres, and branching out to hardcore and traditional as well. Please just listen to some unreleased and you will see that his death actually ruined his legacy, and he would have been so much more successful with way more attention on his current music if he were still alive.
I think Pop Smoke, Juice and xxx would’ve been huge. Pop Smoke had that voice, he was super charismatic and charming and there’s nobody like him. Juice Wrld had an insane amount of versatility that kinda still blows me away til this day. & with X even if you weren’t familiar with all his music at the time, we all saw his following and influence I don’t think that would’ve went away.
I think one of the best ways to determine an artists greatness is to listen to what other artists say about them. Everyone loved Juice and was shocked at his sheer talent, before and after his passing. The top artist paid their respects and complimented his talent. I feel like Juice’s legacy speaks for itself yet so many hate on him for some reason.
I think we can safely consider Juice a legend. Lot of the time I hear kids and teens talk about him saying that he "saved them" and shit, which I can't speak on their behalf, but if they're being genuine thats one hell of an influence
If juice was alive he would be undoubtable a legend by the end of his career as he could experiment with many different genres and he would be able to pull most if not all off
Hey man, wanted to add my take. Imo emo rap wouldn't have died as you claimed it would. Although much hated, MGK is still relevant with his punk rock which means that there is still a large audience for this type of music. It wouldn't have stayed the same yes but it had the potential of evolving into something which would be leaning more into the pop side. If peep had so many people hooked even before his passing you cannot underestimate the potential of the genre he created. Imagine it this way, if Carti had died when he was just popping off we would never have gotten rage music and people would have said that Carti's death doesn't matter as his baby voice music only had a small shelf life and couldn't have survived for long. That is a bold assumption to make.
I don't know about you but every time I listen to a dead artist I just feel like he is next to me, like he just is singing his ideas, this is why I fucking music
Juice Wrld was and still is the greatest example of timeless music. It doesn’t matter where you are, or how you are feeling in that moment and time, Juice has a song that you can find relatable. To my knowledge he is the only artist who has been able to achieve this.
Allow me as an actual vet. Peep is considered a legend by popular belief he invented emo rap. X is a legend due to his charitable causes and self improvement. He did want to make the world a better place.
@@JivoDraws I’m glad. He was on course to be one of the greatest artists ever and his unreleased showcases a lot of his insane versatility so I was absolutely shooketh when you compared him to iann dior
Peep creates his own slang the way yeat does (ie white wine, ghost girl) and has good genetics for intelligence (parents went to harvard) and a very versatile voice at a very young age. No doubt he was levels above in a genre that he created. Notice how nobody really replicated peep or was able to draw influence from him and get anywhere close. You also have to kinda be 16-24 and at that place in life to really enjoy it to its full potential. When you get older it's harder to relate to it as much.
U said "I dont think so" to the question if juice would've been able to adapt to the chances in music. I have to dissagree: Juice made songs everyday, which means that he practiced every day and if you do something consistently you automatically improve. He also did an insane amount of collabs in a timespan of two years as someone who was only 19-20 years old, artist from all types of different genres and he was always able to adapt and fit the style of the artist he was collaborating with, whilst still being himself, while the listener still recognises juice WRLD. I found this video super interesting, ur style is super unique and the art is amazing, ur videos feel satisfying to watch, you feel that a lot of effort has been put in to them! I expected you to have a few million followers, but you have 37K (which is also super inpressive dont get me wrong, but u get what im saying) Youve got a lot of potential, keep going man, hope ur having a good day!
Juice was good at many different genres instead of just emo rap, the only reason why you probably think he wouldn't have done better if he was alive is because the label doesn't release the songs where its fun and hype to listen to. The label only releases sad songs and makes juice look like only an emo rap sad boy. If you look into his unreleased it's a whole different story. (he has over 3000 unreleased songs)
XXX and Juice pretty much are legends. Juice could have been bigger but his label has been fucking up since he passed. Juice btw has a bunch of happy songs but a lot of that shit is unreleased
Peep a legend bc of his genre bending music. He was so raw and put so much emotion into his music. He changed the music industry. If he had more time he would of grown out of the drug stuff. His talent was limitless
Great video! Juice wrld was heavily influenced by countless genres and was definitely starting to evolve, i think a big reason hes seen as just an emo rapper is because of the music his label released after his death, i think juice wrld had the talent, potential, and efficiency of being the next drake and definitely biggest out of all featured in this video
Tbh xxx paved a way for artists to find their inner self and experiment with different genres while Juice paved a way to influence creativity coming onto the track etc and making music less stressful then it has to be which I don’t see a lot of people talking about
look at juices unreleased songs. he had FAR more hype than sad and some of them are INSANE. he could do rock, hype, sad, r&b, acoustic, country, love, rage, anything. juice would 100% stay with whatever music is popular
Peep's music was like a thing to listen to if u felt depressed I wouldnt say his music was talking about drugs there were many songs that were like rnb/love songs like feelz, teen romance etc
imma be honest, when i heard x had died i basically went insane and wanted to learn about him more. at this point im dissapointed in myself for knowing so freaking much but now that i know basically everything about him, hes definitely a legend in my opinion.
The reason I say Juice was a legend was because I wouldn’t even be listening to his music rn if it wasn’t for his versatility. But only his fans know his versatility. Plus imo he’s the reason why calling artists “legends” is even popular
The only two Rappers in there, that I can scream LEGEND from the top of my lungs, are: Pop Smoke & XXXTENTACION. Still appreciate the others tho, no hate to them.
Amazing perspective, I disagree a little with u on lil peep but 95% I could definitely agree with, amazing video very entertaining, keep getting better :)
Yeah bro it’s all about perspective, I actually kinda want to be a little controversial it gets people thinking and expressing their own perspective and views. Glad you enjoyed it
Great video man, honestly IMO juice did break out off the emo rap sphere around 2019, though as is obvious now he never really got as much recognition for that flip on genres. If you take one good look at his unreleased music you'll see lots of pop, rock, trap, and several other genres he had grown up on or liked as a kid, plus a few extras. Juice was a really talented and great person, consumed by what got him out there in the first place that never really reached his full potential in the public eye.
personally i think juice wouldve fit really well into the rage scene. some of his verses like the one on nuketown or 1400/999 sounded amazing, and i would kill to hear juice on a f1lthy beat.
Anyone who helped people with their music is a legend in my eyes, at least in that way. With Peep I feel he would have still become huge, He had the insane catchiness and attractiveness to him that only a superstar could have. He was also becoming a fashion icon.
Juice is definitely more diverse than the sad boy music he had made non sad boy music nd it has slapped like syphilis, semi-addict, nuketown, nd more tht I can't think of rn
Hard disagree about Lil Peep. Dude crossed genres and it’s really hard to place him solely in the rock or rap category. I also don’t think Pop Smoke had much potential. He was a mid drill rapper with little lyrical talent. Juice Wrld was a legend of course. I don’t hear anything bad about him. Same for Nipsey. Nipsey was extremely influential in and out of the rap game.
I agree but disagree with Nipsey and pop drill is kinda mid but bro still inspired all of new York and tbh I still don't know who tf Nipsey Hussle is and his music is shitty
@@Plutonian-t5f you don’t know who Nipsey is but his music is shitty? Way to contradict yourself. Nip was a black business owner and a pillar of his community. Dude started selling mixtapes in LA and Jay Z bought 10,000 of them. He was in the game for a long time but was at the HEIGHT of his career when he was killed. Bro was working with some of the biggest names in the game. Educate yourself before making ignorant comments 😔
juice wrld would have become a legend, his Emo stuff was more played mainstream than his other music, he was very prolific with his music and could have easily evolved
I see a perfect example. Will Smith. After the Oscars, although he has many amazing accomplishments currently, would people appreciate him more nonliving than alive? How would Chris Rock feel if he passed days after the stand-up show? You're right, we should be appreciative of people and treat them more humanely. It's like how it's easier to look up or down, but harder to find a reflection. 3 reason I think people idolize decreased artists is: 1. Social connection with others mourning the loss *or* being a band wagoneer to get that connection 2. Even with A.I., the passing of an artist creates a commodity for their music 3. Sentiment / infatuation / fascination / obsession
My opinion peep is mid he got a few good songs most are just "eh" juice I think couldve been a legend he had songs to match any vibe same but didnt juice wrld didnt want to be called a legend or something?? same with X he had songs to match any vibe but he still isnt considered a legend nb knew who he was till he died and this goes for any underground artist I see alot of ppl talking about pop smoke so ima say my opinion as well about him Pop was definitely the goat of new york he has everyone Brooklyn rapper copying his style but tbh i don't think that made him legendary status Also before yall get mad most of these rapper barley been out for 10 years💀 so realistically none of them are legends
if you are a juice fan you'd know he was someone who classed himself a rockstar. you can't say he'd be making music like/with mgk its two different genres
I respect your opinion but MGK also describes himself as a rockstar but in that rockstar lifestyle. Juice could’ve definitely improved and branched out from the sad boy emo rap but I guess we’ll never know
@@JivoDraws it’s not an opinion when Juice said it multiple times 😂 and you do know there’s like over 1000+ songs juice recorded right that isn’t just “Emo Rap” it’s the label fucking him over now releasing the “Emo Rap” shit

Without bones there would be no Lil Peep too.
@@------. bones underrated af
Juice would still be here if it wasn’t for peep wtf is you smoking on . He never got inspiration or ever heard peep until he died .
thank you. i really think calling his music ''drug hyped'' was just not giving it the proper closure and honestly kinda disrespectful, peep had a lot going for him, and he was peaked before his death which this creator was wrong about.
I remember hearing ‘Vice City’ for the first time smoking in the back of an old honda-crv. Man, I miss X. He really is a legend. Props to everyone else, however I too had a special connection to X’s music.
vice city is so fucking underrated
You have no idea of the potential Lil Peep was showing in his final year of music, He would of been a legitimate popstar within 2-3 years tops. He had an uncanny ability for wirrting catchy melodic music. Personally in my eyes he is already a legend.
Especially in High Fashion, it shows that Lil Peep could have gone a Post Malone type route
@@toshichoo more unique sounding though similar to what fall out boy and Paramore did by bringing the pop charts to them instead of turning pop.
Yeah I actually really liked the lil peep and Ilovemakonnen collabs. Really wish he was able to branch out of the so called “emo rap”
@@brandon8937spit them facts my brother! Juice was mad lyrical 🔥
That’s why I’m gonna try not to die but who knows hate hurts people especially kids🙏🏽😢
You gave me chills when you said while they're still here, instead of when they're gone and you showed Uzi 😔
If the whole world had access to juice’s unreleased library, they would see he has a song is pretty much every genre and still made it sound good, music is a very opinionated topic so theres not really a right or wrong answer for if his music was “good” but nobody can deny the talent he had for it
when Mac Miller died a piece of me died. literally felt like I lost a best friend that I never met. still get wicked sad about his death
Nahhh Bro it's always the X fans disrespecting Juice 😭 Comparing Juice to Iann Dior is crazy tbh, if u listen to Juice WRLD's unreleased you'd see he is more than emo rap 😭
(both X and Juice legends for sure! LLJ & LLJW 🙏)
That was the worst juice take I’ve ever heard💀 bro said he’d be making music with mgk and compared him to Ian dior
This video was really well put together great job dude
ty so much!
Bro i get it about peep but being fr he was gonna be a legendeverything from his voice and his lyrics. peep actually impacted the youth and saved lives. i think his lyrics wouldve been what separated him from others i mean "i wanna take my life just to give it to you" thats beautiful, and the youth wouldnt forget him meaning he wouldnt fall off and have a strong fan base. i think his music genuinely woulda changed the world man
I could maybe see that. It’s just unfortunate cause we’ll never know, I wish peep had more of a chance to go along with his mainstream sound
@@JivoDraws yh true

I think both juice and peep were on the path to greatness, but X was for sure a legend, he had a impact on a whole generation and only did it within a 2 year span. He in my opinion is one of the GOATS, and he was still changing and becoming even better as an artist.
juice fans know that he wouldnt be makin music w mgk he was moving on from sad to hype music
the album he was gonna drop called "outsiders" wud be full of hype stuff
juice is one of the greatest freestylers so yea he is a legend
Yeah you have a point but after outsiders, do you think he would’ve switched up his style?
Not just drug hype

lil peep imo is a legend due to his creativity and the way he was able to blend genres effortlessly, his style, his personality and everything about him was so unique to me, if he got more time to improve he would have been a certified legend to more people.

damn bro u are talented as HELL! This video was really good, really enjoyable.
+ANTI! thank you so much glad you enjoyed more on the way! trying to evolve as much as possible
Saying Juice WRLD is similar to Ian Dior is crazy
I definitely take this opinion back
The JuiceWrld disrespect is crazy, saying he would turn out like Ian Dior or even MGK is so far from the truth, he is the definition of evolution in music, pushing the emo rap era, then evolving with it into the many sub genres, and branching out to hardcore and traditional as well. Please just listen to some unreleased and you will see that his death actually ruined his legacy, and he would have been so much more successful with way more attention on his current music if he were still alive.
Good work young man. Frankly I don’t know any of these artists, but I did like your analysis. Again, good work!
JIVO really came up was here when he had 2k on instagram real proud of you vro
damn 2k on insta?? that’s wild!!! glad u seeing the come up :)
More video essays to come
I think one of the best ways to determine an artists greatness is to listen to what other artists say about them.
If juice was alive he would be undoubtable a legend by the end of his career as he could experiment with many different genres and he would be able to pull most if not all off
so glad I found your channel!
Ayy I’m glad you found it too more vids on the way (just like this one)
Being a legend is all subjective, here are 8 minutes of my arbitrary rules for being a legend

X is a legend due to his charitable causes and self improvement. He did want to make the world a better place.

Also want to get the viewer thinking
For me lil peep was a legend.
Rest in peace lil peep
+maxderholzrusse respect
Peep creates his own slang the way yeat does (ie white wine, ghost girl) and has good genetics for intelligence (parents went to harvard) and a very versatile voice at a very young age. No doubt he was levels above in a genre that he created. Notice how nobody really replicated peep or was able to draw influence from him and get anywhere close. You also have to kinda be 16-24 and at that place in life to really enjoy it to its full potential. When you get older it's harder to relate to it as much.
he was indeed special, but hey the brightest star burns out the fastest.
U said "I dont think so" to the question if juice would've been able to adapt to the chances in music. I have to dissagree:
Juice made songs everyday, which means that he practiced every day and if you do something consistently you automatically improve.
I expected you to have a few million followers, but you have 37K (which is also super inpressive dont get me wrong, but u get what im saying)
Youve got a lot of potential, keep going man, hope ur having a good day!
btw, u said "he would be making music with MGK" it feels negative, but I dont understand why, could u explain?
I think they're all legends in their own way
BANGER ALERT!!
Yessirrr
If you say X is a legend you have to accept that juice is just as much if not more of a legend
why you say that?
Juice was good at many different genres instead of just emo rap, the only reason why you probably think he wouldn't have done better if he was alive is because the label doesn't release the songs where its fun and hype to listen to. The label only releases sad songs and makes juice look like only an emo rap sad boy. If you look into his unreleased it's a whole different story. (he has over 3000 unreleased songs)
Loved the video and we all consider different people to be legends. I don't think x and juice are legends though but we all have opinions
Tbh xxx paved a way for artists to find their inner self and experiment with different genres while Juice paved a way to influence creativity coming onto the track etc and making music less stressful then it has to be which I don’t see a lot of people talking about
I also could eat stand x at first but when he started like changing I realized how phenomenal he is
ur binging all my vids I love it
look at juices unreleased songs. he had FAR more hype than sad and some of them are INSANE. he could do rock, hype, sad, r&b, acoustic, country, love, rage, anything. juice would 100% stay with whatever music is popular
Peep's music was like a thing to listen to if u felt depressed I wouldnt say his music was talking about drugs there were many songs that were like rnb/love songs like feelz, teen romance etc
Also i love ur art for your videos.
ayy ty man :) just trying to incorporate my commentary with my animation

Glad you enjoyed it bro
i agree ion think peep is a legend bc he DID impact millions of people BUT he isn’t a house hold name
The reason I say Juice was a legend was because I wouldn’t even be listening to his music rn if it wasn’t for his versatility. But only his fans know his versatility. Plus imo he’s the reason why calling artists “legends” is even popular
The only two Rappers in there, that I can scream LEGEND from the top of my lungs, are:
Pop Smoke & XXXTENTACION.
Still appreciate the others tho, no hate to them.

Always loved Peep. Go back and listen to his Schemaposse stuff.

Juice was a really talented and great person, consumed by what got him out there in the first place that never really reached his full potential in the public eye.
personally i think juice wouldve fit really well into the rage scene. some of his verses like the one on nuketown or 1400/999 sounded amazing, and i would kill to hear juice on a f1lthy beat.
this is a great video fr🔥
Ty bro more to come! :)
Anyone who helped people with their music is a legend in my eyes, at least in that way.
With Peep I feel he would have still become huge, He had the insane catchiness and attractiveness to him that only a superstar could have. He was also becoming a fashion icon.

3 reason I think people idolize decreased artists is:
1. Social connection with others mourning the loss *or* being a band wagoneer to get that connection
2. Even with A.I., the passing of an artist creates a commodity for their music
3. Sentiment / infatuation / fascination / obsession
My opinion peep is mid he got a few good songs most are just "eh"
juice I think couldve been a legend he had songs to match any vibe same but didnt juice wrld didnt want to be called a legend or something??
same with X he had songs to match any vibe but he still isnt considered a legend nb knew who he was till he died and this goes for any underground artist
I see alot of ppl talking about pop smoke so ima say my opinion as well about him Pop was definitely the goat of new york he has everyone Brooklyn rapper copying his style but tbh i don't think that made him legendary status
Also before yall get mad most of these rapper barley been out for 10 years💀 so realistically none of them are legends
if you are a juice fan you'd know he was someone who classed himself a rockstar. you can't say he'd be making music like/with mgk its two different genres
I respect your opinion but MGK also describes himself as a rockstar but in that rockstar lifestyle. Juice could’ve definitely improved and branched out from the sad boy emo rap but I guess we’ll never know
No he wouldn’t
