Do not mail to these companies it’s much cheaper to do it yourself and these companies do not give high quality results and have bad costumer support.

Or you could just play them and enjoy them the way they are for the REAL nostalgia. There are many SERVICED cassette decks on eBay for purchase.

That's true! You never know, if you take care of them they might last for a while longer.

@@stvlu733 Yeah! We get tapes like that in the studio all the time. It's amazing how well they hold up if they are taken care of.
There were some brands and some years where the tapes didn't last. Some of them name brand too! the formula used in the tape was substandard for some reason and they were susceptible to warping and breaking. But most cassettes will last a long time if you store them well.
And to your point about cassette decks. Because of the nature of our business, We have had dozens of almost every type of cassette deck available come through the studio at some point; everything from Nakamichi to Tascam to Pioneer and everything in between. And we have found that if you can get a consumer-grade Sony double-cassette deck, you have a good chance at having a machine that will last for a long time. On the other hand, consumer-grade JVC and Yamaha are the most likely to die.
      Thanks for your input!
