Just found your channel and totally loving it - comment about the Van-Life Thumbnail with the fit birds arse had me chuckling for ages...great channel and can't wait to see more vids
😂 glad you like the channel. It’s true on these American Van life vids there’s always a bit of totty on the thumbnail. There even creeping into wild camping ones. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining 😂👍 But trying to get my other half to bend over in a thong is A it wouldn’t happen and B I haven’t got a wide angle lens... Ps don’t tell her I said that 😃👍 ATB Steve
Hi Steve. Nice to see you out mate Love the mug. Believe me I've got worse it's Top shelf ones lol. As regards videos. Bike touring And camping. Van touring..love them all mate Stay safe. Old dave
It's the same here in Minnesota Steve, I can deal with the sand, deal with the cold but waiting for the salt to be washed off before I get serious. Enjoy your presentations, your bike outings my favorite but really appreciating your van build. I've done a more basic conversion here with mine, camping and pulling one of the adventure bikes for base camps further from home. I'll be watching for whatever you present. Thanks for your efforts!
Great video Steve, you’ve got my dad even more enthusiastic about his camper van build anyways, you asked what we’d like to see in the future, personally I’d really like some motorcycle camping in the forest again, always enjoy bike stuff, but whichever you feel like doing will be good
I first started watch you for the bike content, but I do enjoy all your vids , camping , bikes , van , hikes , once your out and about on 2 wheels touring Scotland, a meet up would be fab , I live in central Scotland, and the highlands are my usual stomping grounds , your content is enjoyable, thanks for sharing
Nice evening viewing, an you've had me smiling through the whole of this video, you are an amusing character to watch and listen to, Glad your back 👍😎🏍️
Bike or van vids, your bike vids brought me to subscribe but I’ve been living in my van for 3 years now so van vids will still be relevant. Always great content keep it up👍
Bike , van, or shanks’s pony I’d watch it. It’s more about the adventure than the mode of transportation for me. I’ve got a van and a bike but the van is just a van so it’s Guy Martin style, camping mat and a sleeping bag for me.
I’m a bit late viewing but it’s good to see you back out and about. Let’s hope things ease up again and folk can get to doing what they enjoy in the great outdoors!!
Liked and subscribed! Watching from Vietnam! Will return to the UK soon and begin a van project for myself! Great Videos Steve! Keep up the great work!
Great to see you out again, done a great job of the van. Love your bike videos, but the van will give you more protection when you do some camping in spooky locations, especially Harwood forest. Keep safe mate, look forward to the next one.
Cracking job Steve keep up the good work. We love bikes, camping and eating so carry on doing what you do, it would be good to see another bike camping vid but whatever you put out is good. I can't wait to get out and get some more bike footage it's killing me 👍
Great video again Steve thank you appreciate it the van is brilliant... If the doors open stick a wedge in the vent 🤣👍thankyou again Steve great to see you out stay safe marra 👍🏕️
The van videos are much better than the motorbike videos. Ive been eyeing up a few ford transit connects to buy, inspired by your vids, thank you. I struggle to do my wild camping in tents due to an injury so van camping might be my answer.
Grt vid Steve..van looks ace 👌...I'm a biker al the way..can't wait to see you out on the big girl soon hopefully..looking forward to the weather improving so I can get out on my wee R1 also..keep the vids coming
Hi I love your videos, always look forward to them. In terms of you asking what people would like to see, in my opinion for what it's worth, just vid stuff you want to do, that's the joy of it for me.
@@stevebutler7156 Thanks Steve, in that case then a short vid about hints or tips to overcome any nervousness about your first stealth camp by van or bike would be welcome. For example I still get anxious over whether the police / land owner will get funny with you, you accidentally pick a dogging or teenage meet up spot , how safe is your precious bike/van from curious unpleasant folk, privacy etc. I did a bike wild camp on dartmoor last year, inspired by your vids and picked what I thought was a good quiet spot, I had to park the bike in a layby and camp a good 500m away. All fine until 11pm when a load of boy racers turned up in the layby and I could hear them screeching tyres near my bike but too far away to do anything. Anyways turned out there was nothing to worry about and I really enjoyed it.
@@sh4nds1 I think Hints and tips is a good idea, but especially on the bike just try and get an area out of site. But sometimes that can be quite difficult if you want to stay with the bike. I personally have had some heart stopping moments and I think not all people related. But the feeling of waking up in the morning and thinking wow I survived is brilliant. (Probably survived) wrong word 😂) I did try the van out about 6weeks ago in an area I didn’t know in the peaks... About 9pm 3 hot hatches turned up revving there engines etc. Parked near the van. Now it’s got black out blinds and curtains, so they didn’t know I was inside. I kept quiet. It was locked but I was preparing to get out brandishing something if they caused damage or tried to break in. Turned out by there conversations they were just petrol head max power types showing off their mods with their girlfriends and talking about uni. But the hour they were there was a long one. Had a great nights sleep afterwards. Never filmed it for obvious reasons.
@@stevebutler7156 Thanks Steve I bet that was a 'fun' hour for you. As far as parking for the van is concerned I've seen a lot of people recommend the Park for the Night app for your phone and the BritStops book.
