    Cameron Newton… the game for ME will never be as exciting! As a panthers fan I can say I watch football simply because I love the sports BUT I’ll never get that feeling I got watching you play. Absolutely the greatest QB the panthers ever had and ever will have. You set the mold , the tone and the standard. Thank you 🙏🏼👏🏽

      @@KuttYou Panthers messed up fr. They’ll never have another SB run. Ever. This organization can’t do anything right. It’s a reason why all the good players get traded away and have success on other teams! It’s the Panthers. They cursed because of how they did Cam as well as other players. Look at CMC.. balling. Wilks, having success with the 49ers defense. That’s not coincidence.

      An offense only functions if you play to the Quarterback’s strengths and build around him. You can’t maximize all the talent out of the quarterback you drafted if you’re trying to fit him into your scheme. God you are just another ignorant fool who knows nothing football other than what you see on screen. Do you use your brain at all?

  • @theCHILLIntrovert
    @theCHILLIntrovert 11 місяців тому +6

    Cam is 100% right. These OCs and coaches create these unnecessarily obtuse ass offenses. So much ridiculous verbiage and systems and pre snap stuff when it's basically just a 5 yard pass underneath. It's not about dumbing the game down, it's about simplifying it for your young QB and then adding more wrinkles and things into it as time goes along. I loathe OCs and offensive head coaches that are pretentious tryhards with their systems. Stop trying to create the next Brady, Rodgers, Manning, etc and actually LOOK AT YOUR QB for who THEY are, not what you want them to become. Imagine if every coach in the NBA had a young player and wanted them to become MJ or LeBron out the gate. You might not have MJ, you might have a Tim Duncan, Shaq, etc. This is such a triggering topic for me because young players don't choose where they get drafted, and I absolutely believe a player's development can hinge on where they go and health luck more than even their talent/ability.

    It somewhat depends on the coach and those above that guy. If the guy has a good coach that allows that creativity, value that and protect that as best you can.
    The flip side is the coach who wants things specifically. Andrew Reed is an example of a coach who seems to have changed his approach as needed. Awfully impressive for an older guy and speaks volumes about a guy like that.

    RG3 or Cam would be a great mentor for any young qb. Simplifying it week by week. Not one year of I form and then here's an encyclopedia size playbook. "Idk why we can't win. It's not my fault, we practice the plays and I just call them." But here's the qb after...."It's my fault, I missed the WR on it." I specifically remember coaches, players and even the Media who is cl9se to the team saying Nagy would call plays that they never even practiced yet. On top of Fields not get first team reps in preseason or practice. Now every little mistake Fields makes is blown up and he's called a Bust, instead of, "look at what he's done with 3 coaches, 3 OCs, and finally getting a number 1 receiver. "

    The belief system that existed prior to mike vick's arrival; "you can't win outside the pocket" Brady became the poster child for this belief system, manning. When vic got out of jail you could see his determination to win from the pocket to please the holders of that belief. The same happened to Cam and RG3 is they tried to live up to the belief system and it destroyed their careers. Kyler Murry is in danger of being out of the league because they want him to win from the pocket first run second; not be creative and just play the game. it's a kids game. Cam is right but he's too emotional to really get support for his perspective and for it to do some good

    2:30 "trying to coach him like a complex guy"
    I think the NFL qb position is not as complex as some of the gatekeepers and old guards WANT fans to think it is. Certain Fans care more about intelligence and image and style more than NFL teams when looking for a qb. Certain Fans care more about wonderlic and S2 scores more than NFL teams when looking for a qb.
    Qb is not rocket science, it's football.

    Great video…They can’t just simplify the game for the young athletic Quarterbacks because it’ll mean so much to the NFL and it’s good ol boys.Once the world see that you can win championships with these new age QBACKS it’s over!!! Jimmy the Greek spoke about this on so many levels you can say what you about him but at least he was honest.Also They think if those Qbacks start winning titles it’ll diminish old school pocket passing Qbacks achievements which is not true.
