Alot of items like the toaster are new from Christmas gifts or such people decide are not needed. I donate tons of new in the box items I buy or get as gifts and end up not using so instead of trying to make a few dollars it's much more useful to help out the local shops and local residents on a budget. I dropped off about 200 dvds last winter when i was in TN.

That is the least crazy Goodwill I have ever seen..the aisles have actual space between them..things are SOMEWHAT organized..I can't believe that is a Goodwill at all..Big lots is cool but you need to go to a Falling Prices. Ecorthrift is pretty awesome too.
