Thats a damn good price
I love the harrier and will have to do a 1/48 scale one at some point
Just found your channel, great stuff!
Awesome, thank you!
Hi, I tend to use water to smooth down the vallejo putty because it is acrylic based, rather than sanding it which can remove some details if I’m not careful!
I do the same if it's not a deep hole I am filling
A wet cotton bud works a treat on wing joints ect
I think airfix did a gr3,it's got decals for hms hermes 1982,it's the latest tools as well(2013) if you can find one
Cheers pal I will have to keep my eyes open for one
Cool
thanks
I mean, I know you said you had your issues, but man, that’s stunning. VERY nice build. Also quite refreshing to see a kit built without s*** loads of weathering done. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Your welcome and I do enjoy doing weathering but sometimes it's easy to overdo it and ruin the quality detail of a kit
Good clean build. Yes, Italeri are notorious for fit issues and dubious details, but you can't go past the Cartograf decals. In 1/72, the new Airfix and Hasegawa Harriers are better detailed. The best Harriers in any scale are the Kinetic 1/48 offerings but they are a bit pricey. The Hasegawa 1/48 AV.8 is pretty good too.
Thanks for letting me know which kits are available and I will have to check them out
Cheers
For a kit that's knocking on 40 years old I think you've got a really good finish.
This is one of those kits where the manufacturer repackages an older kit in a new box with new decals and charges a relatively high price for it.
Makes me mad sometimes when manufacturers don't let you know ages of kits on boxes but I suppose they wouldn't sell so many if you could see it's a kit that is 40 plus years old
Nice to seeyou again...great build
Your welcome pal
Hopefully a few more kits will get finished now work isn't so crazy busy
@@yorkshiremanmodels awesome....would love to see Airfix reissue their Harrier diorama set but can't see it happening
