AWW! Those scans are scary to know it's time for another one. My best friend had the non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma as well...Her's started in her neck. We went thru the stress of scans together, and yes it's scary. She has been 25 years now in remission. Enjoy every Day and Month and Year or trips and vacations and fun times-- next thing you know, it's 25 years out! Don't miss out on any fun activities esp. from fear or worry. Live Laugh Love!!! XOXOXOXO
I am stage for non-small cell lung cancer carcinoma, and I also have it in my lip and I also have bone cancer. I saw your story. I hope that you live and I hope you get rid of your cancer. Jesus Christ holy name amen 🙏🏻 🫶🏻🙏🏻👐🏻✝️
It would be helpful if you explain if your cancer is in remission, or if it came again. What kind of a treatments you had, and so on. My Prayers go out for you. Please get a good diet, rest and pray! ❤
God bless you Alesia . I hope you know that your story is helping me & I'm sure many others to not feel so alone & frustrated when going through very similar symptoms here. I hope you are still feeling & doing much better - now & ongoing! Sending more peace, love & continued healing! ❤
You are Blessed. Thanks for opening up and sharing. You are saving lives when you give your testimony. Please remain strong and faithful. You are beautiful with your Afro.
Thank you for sharing your experience, it was definitely worth listening to. Praying for all of us that the Holy Spirit will continue to bless us with endurance and longevity
I understand mourning the loss of your hair, but girl you look gorgeous with a bald head too! I pray that you are healed and healthy in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ 🙌 love you sister ❤
The Creator is Allaah and he gave Psalms to Prophet Dawood (David), He gave the Torat to Prophet Musa (Moses), He gave the Gospel to Prophet Eesa (Jesus), He gave the Qur'an to Last Prophet Muhammad.
I love the way you explained about the loss of your hair and l totally understand, it’s not easy. You are so beautiful and l wish you everything wonderful ❤
You're Such A Remarkably Brave, Strong, Courageous And Gorgeous Young Woman. Pray 🙏 You Live A Long, Healthy, Happy, Fun, Peaceful And Prosperous Full Life Beautiful Lady 🙌💜. Thank You For Sharing Your Story. Western Upstate NY here
Hi Alesia, I just watched your story and I must say that you are the definition of strength and resolve. I wish you the best, and I pray that you will continue to remain strong and healthy. May God bless you and keep you. Thank you for sharing your story.
Thank you for your story Alesia. For such a young person who has been dealing with this diagnosis for a relatively short time, you have a lot of good advice to give. Best of health to you in the future!
You have such a wonderful and soothing voice. So glad you are healthy and healing. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Blessings and health to you 🙏🏿 ❤
I 100% respect your feelings regarding your hair (after all, it is YOUR hair), but I just had to comment, in the small chance you’d see it. Not everybody can pull off short hairstyles or even totally bald, but GIRL! You seriously rocked it! All your fun glasses, along with your gorgeous eyes and smile?! Beautiful! Sometimes it’s hard to see ourselves shining, so thought I’d letcha know 🫶 I also had a question, if anybody knows. I’m just curious about the scans afterward. I can only imagine how scared an anxious one might be, waiting 6 whole months for a scan. Is it possible to ask for one in, for example, 3 months? If not, is it because insurance won’t cover it? I’m genuinely just curious. My own mind can be a dark place sometimes, and I don’t know that I could wait that long, for my sanity
Is there a follow up on your condition I know this was posted a year ago .. your short hair puts your beautiful features into model mode big time . Prayers for complete healing
Thank you so much for sharing your story! My family is just beginning this journey. Your story helps so much. I think you're beautiful, long hair or not. ❤❤❤
Thank you for that. Stay well. You are right it is not always to think of positives. I related to everything you went through. I was diagnosed with NHL WADENSTRUM CAN GO INTO REMISSION BUT NOT CURABLE. I too knew something was wrong I did not feel particularly sick but not well either. My symptoms anemia loss of weight which I attributed to stress. Unfortunately under going my first MRI they also discovered a small cancer in my right breast which was treated before the NHL with radiotherapy. THEN came the chemotherapy. Any way one has to play the cards given. My doctors were great except for my family MD. Friends and family very supportive. I too had suffered from anxiety panic attacks before being diagnosed with cancer but surprisingly I had none during the the four years of cancer treatment. STAY WELL and live each day at a time and thanks for your work you do as a teacher.
Thanks for sharing your story. You are a hero......And there are UA-cam channel like MK lovlif who lambast against cancer patients and their families. She laughs at the misery of cancer suffering.... can't we do anything about it?..
Hi Alicia. Resonated with me as I remembered how hard it was to lose my hair. I told everyone that I loved it, but in all reality it was hard. The funny part about it though is that once I got used to it I loved it! You are a beautiful young woman just as you are. It’s amazing the things re learn about ourselves huh? We are strong and having support makes us even stronger. My whole point to this is that I,too suffered from scanxiety. I still do. I kept waiting for the “other shoe to drop”. Know what I mean? That part gradually ended as I became busier and time passed. I send you my best regards and positive energy so that you, too will come to a certain comfort with this “speed bump” in your life and move past to fulfill all of your dreams and aspirations. I’m 68 and still remember Mrs Ruiz in first grade! Keep being wonderful so that you can make a difference in children!❤❤❤❤
I have all these symptoms to but I have had all different tests an my PCP tells me that there is nothing wrong I have Achalasia an Gastroparisis where I can eat at all.
Wishing you lots of luck and healing ❤️🩹 Thank you for being so courageous and sharing your story. I hope you’re getting all the care and support you need going forward.
You are considered young. So sorry but all of these young people which have been diagnosed with terrible diseases.need to start telling people how many Covid vaccines did they get? This will help other people and get to the truth. Too many young people getting very sick. I pray for your recovery.
Loved the fact that she said it’s okay to grieve (for who we were with our hair), to welcome it and let it take as long as it needs to. Then how she mentions to never stop asking questions and know your place as a patient that you’re allowed to want answers and ask your Dr and care team about it all. AND I LOVED HOW SHE SPEAKS ABOUT BECOMING SOMEONE ENTIRELY NEW BUT STILL LOVING THIS NEW VERSION OF YOURSELF REGARDLESS 😭 ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
Found out 3 weeks ago I have Lymphoma, I’m 22 years old! Still running more tests but i’ll start chemo very soon, I was so nervous but she spoke about it all with so much raw honesty and grace! so emotional right now, I LOVE ALESIA, sending you a big big hug with lots of love🥺❤️🩹
