Really hard to keep the mask on properly while sleeping on side and also not have leaks. A video on that or some recommendations would be highly appreciated (or if you've done one already a link). Thanks again.

    • @barryhogue5307

That dosent help as much as one would think. If you move your face just a little it will adjust the side of the mask and offset it. The only way I can use any mask is by sleeping on my back only. Super uncomfortable, while thing is a nightmare

That's my issue too. Between side-sleeping and a beard, I'm always getting woken up in the night with air blasting out somewhere, and having to turn it off and start over to get a fresh seal.

This! I've been using nasal pillows, and it's helped a lot with the resmed p30i. I can at least sleep on my side again. Took a while to train myself to not bury my face and push the mask off 😂

    New sub. Enjoying the content.
I can get comfortable on either side or my back, the problem is - comfortably staying there. After a while, aches and pains compel me to roll over, and I have relief for a short while, but eventually the aches return and the process repeats itself. Every night is a marathon. I need to look into this software. It might prove useful. Thanks!

It seems laying on your side with CPAP makes it harder to breathe with Evora full face, I’ve been on CPAP for years and still can’t fall asleep with a mask on and use the mask maybe 2-4hrs a day unless I take a sleeping pill. I’m always tired.

Hey Uncle Nicko, I have suffered neck, shoulder, lower back, hip, knee, and ankle injuries. I can no longer sleep on my side, I have a fully adjustable bed (which currently needs repairing). Currently, my bed has the head slightly inclined, and too much incline makes my head loll to the side, I wake up with neck injury induced migraine. So I'm interested in any adjustments you may suggest... 😊👍

I've observed that I experience significantly better sleep while lying on my back (supine position) compared to when I'm on my side. I use the P10 nasal pillow and experience zero leaks when sleeping on my side. But when I transition to either side, I seem to struggle to take full breaths, which impacts the quality of my sleep. Although I can still sleep on my side, the overall quality diminishes, prompting me to instinctively switch back to the supine position for better rest. Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Man, I WISH I could go back to sleeping on my side or stomach, but the minute I do, my nose plugs right up and my N30i starts leaking. It also leaves significant marks on my face that way.
My back sleeping pressure is only 8, so I wonder how low I could go if I stopped back sleeping. Took a long time to train myself to do it, but now my AHI is below 1.0 every night and I'm sleeping very well with only occasional wakeups. I have a deviated septum, so if that were solved, things would likely be even more glorious!! Drinking enough water also helps alleviate nasal dryness and congestion. And I use the soft cervical collar and mouth tape every single night.

Hi Nico, can you please help me?
My oxigin level drops as soon as I fall asleep and it’s a mess during the whole sleep. Cpap stays under 5 so Cpap says oké. Having a Cpap machine since 2020 but so so tired. That’s why I bought the o2 ring and it shows me that my oxigin drops like 6 hours of the night between 90-94 and only 2 hours above 95 and some minutes under 90. I have gotten no help from the hospital they don’t see the problem but I am not able to have a normal life.

This is great work! Thank you for adding this tool for OSA users to help improve their therapy. When I was diagnosed with OSA 20 yrs ago, nothing like this existed. CPAP was a reverse vacuum cleaner. It was terrible. Now , people can learn about their disease process and hopefully make adjustments to improve their therapy and their health. OSA treatment has improved greatly.

This is pseudo-related: you're a sleep tech? How often have you seen someone in a sleep study that can't stay in one position for longer than a few minutes? Not restless legs, but unable to stay still because it becomes uncomfortable or (similar to RLS) there is a compulsion to move? No caffeine, exhausted or not, ahead/on/behind schedule?
