I teared up watching this, missing home right now. It's been 26 years, hope to go back soon, thanks for sharing my home with the world, I hope to take my friends there one day. Rakahanga To The World - The hidden Gem of the Cook Islands. Can't believe I'm only just seeing this now.
OMG.. what an absolutely breathtaking island. Thank you for walking us through to enjoy! Your drone footage is amazing too, seeing the different colors of the ocean below. Thanks so much Cameron, really love your island vlogs 🏝
Man, I follow your vlog since 2019 and always dream how to have a life like you. I also once live in the west Papua where the beach is so beautiful and the people nice.
Do you know I have always wanted to see Rakahanga Atoll ever since I saw it on google earth! You are so so fortunate to be exploring the northern cooks. Wow Bro. That place is outrageously gorgeous!
Hi Cameron I don't normally comment on video but I felt I needed to on this one. This video literally bro me to tears. I was crying because of how beautiful and heavenly it looked. You captured it so well. I know there is a big time gap between the present and these videos but I just wanted to encourage you that your videos are perhaps the most underrated on YT. I think eventually like many have said before me you will be noticed and your channel will blow up. Rome wasn't built in a day and life is long. I am also building a little piece of paradise in Eastern Indonesia on a little island and would love for you to come and visit one day. I also want to point out that when you inevitably do blow up (it only takes one viral video) you will have a lot of power to do good for these atoll communities. I'm praying you might one day have that opportunity to empower these beautiful people one day.
I greatly appreciate this Jamen. Definitely very motivating for me to hear! I’m very passionate about making this videos and sharing the adventures, but seeing comments like this are always the most rewarding thing for me ❤️
Oh wow, where are you building in eastern Indonesia? I’ve spent time in the Banda Islands, three times and two times to the Kei Islands. Some parts of the Kei islands are like this. No atolls but a few hundred flat, palm covered coral islands with huge twisting sandbars.
@@alanrhyason his Alan, I'll be in Maluku! I was so excited to see you say that you've been there. I've also spent time in the Kei Islands and Banda Islands. The Mei's have some of the most amazing beaches on earth. I am setting up low impact adventure tourism business in North Maluku on a small island off the coast of South Halmahera. There are actually two atolls nearby where I'm setting up called the Widi Islands. They are magnificent and I wish I could have set up there but alas logistically it would be too difficult.
Love this video brother, I grew up here as a kid 20 years ago and not much has changed since then Just less people now😅 Glad you’ve done an awesome job capturing the beautiful scenery 👌
One thing I've always wondered about the island and atolls in the Pacific, is how do they get the supplies out there to build the structures on the island?
I am completely stoked! This is one of the best videos ever! That island is a gem and the people are fantastic. Wish you had a website where you posted photos of all the islands you've been through. Heck, you could even make calendars with photos of these places as a way to make some income to support the channel. A website with also information, comments, etc. I would so gladly support your efforts and buy some merchandise with themes related to this kind of production. Thanks you for sharing this! Very heart warming video. Be safe and tons of blessings to your way. "Hugs" P.S. This video also made me feel mushy inside and almost shed tears. I would trade my current life style for a place to live like that one for sure. Video has been shared.
I have been watching since fanning and your videos never disappoint. I'm still dreaming about dropping out of life and heading to one of those islands too. Fanning was my first choice, but I feel like they did you wrong there. I would have kept you and booted chuck. You always had their best interests in mind. One of these days I am going to sell my restaurant. and move to the islands.
If not for you, Cameron, the ugly spirit as he turned out to be would have died physically and seems to have died within himself. You had/still have so many friends 'there.' I remember your 21st birthday that was made to be such a beautiful coming of age for you, and it genuinely was! Never forget the gifts of beautiful generosity of your friends there who made it so with you and your own natural, spiritual beauty. That the lesser one could turn on you, so, expresses much more about the lacking qualities of his being, and reflects so much as to your own, rare loveliness of heart and depth of soul as a person and spirit. Cast his malformations of being away out from yours, you seem still affected by him with a dark weight lurking in your hurt. It seems to weigh upon your bearing, in the 'sad' I think I hear in your voice in partial place of your prior, fulsome exuberance and grace that filled you, your voice, that one could see in all the radiance about and from within you. I once experienced a not dis-similar level of disappointment in connection with my advocacy work here in Colorado dealt by colleagues and at least two infiltraiters (a little word play here), and through the hurt I still feel at times, I was able to pick-up the best of who I am, leave behind the broken shards they caused, restart my work from the emotional ashes, which rewarded in literally the saving of and protecting of many lives in my Community as well as my own from my shattering. This is true and authentic, and I did not survive without pain. But my Za -Zen Buddhist practice from age fifteen restored me when I allowed myself to 'fall back upon it' - reeling in confusion, and the hurt of betrayal. My practice, witness and natural characterology I allowed to save me...took a bitter, long while, but the green shoots came up through the fertility of my personal 'soil' as a being, as a lotus. Certain naivetes had to be stored in my 'attic,' but I used that sorting process to come back as strong and without loss to my fundamental idealisms of before my 'troubled experiences' and I have my study/readings of Zen Koans and my delight in and with them to thank for triggering recovery (and Mother Nature), and initiating evolving onward. You have great beauty of soul, bruised perhaps, but wellspring of heart and intention to move through, Cameron, and to re-discover through your own magic your platforms of strength and personal power, it is there - not lost - within you, together with your personal compass. (Write if you would like.) [Denver, Colorado]
I've heard that Aitutaki is the most beautiful lagoon in the world. Maybe too many tourists for your liking, but the natural beauty is stunning. I plan to go there in the not-too-distant future.
Greetings, Im an elder (69), I live on my small reservation in S.Dakota along the Big Sioux River with my black labs. What a beautiful place! You will spend years of happiness if willing. I live in a rural area on the prairie and can be places where there is nobody for 50+ miles, that can really give you a sense of Mother Earth and the animals. I envy your youth yet just watching this video Im happy for you, I think you've found your happy place. Friendly people too what more can you ask? Id be willing to bet there is one or two young gals there that are easy on the eyes?........... You have fun enjoy your youth! Be safe, be curious, be careful. Ohan Mitakuyaoyasin ( we are all related)
The Cook Islands formations are definitely beautiful, especially the way the coconut trees growing right on the beaches, I'm sure they're probably older than Kiribati Islands. I miss The Fanning Island (Kiribati) videos. Goodluck on your adventures. Take care and God bless!
Another fantastic video! Is the climate in the Cook Islands any cooler and less humid than Kiribati? I don't think I could live in Kiribati (Tarawa) - too hot and humid.
This earth is so insanely beautiful ♡♡♡
