Thank you for sharing this. My husband and I leave town quite often, and although most trips are short, and our furbabies get to stay home and get spoiled rotten by whichever family member stays with them, I feel so guilty leaving. If we had kids, I probably would cry anytime I left. You showing your departure on this video makes me feel like a more normal person and not just an emotional mess (especially when you were petting Colie (sp)). I admire that you push through these emotions and manage to get it all done. People often ask if I get anxiety, and I say I get it for everything, but if we succumb to our anxiety, we will not experience what the world is offering. This video attests to that.

Awww bri I remember my mom passed a little before thanksgiving and our first Christmas was really hard for my brother not so much for me because I had to be strong for him but each year it did get easier. Your not alone and time does heal maybe not completely but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Those little munchkins sure do help too!
I totally understand your feeling towards decorating the tree. I cannot put up the tree this year. I lost my baby this summer. I had so much anticipation for our first christmas as a family. So thinking about Christmas makes me so so sad. But I hope everyone else has wonderful holidays. Sorry for my english ;)

I get an artificial tree. I have for the past fifteen years. The reason I changed was I like to leave my tree up for several weeks. I use to get a live tree and loved it. I noticed they were drying out and I was afraid of a fire. I just didn’t feel like it was safe. I think the live trees are much prettier. ♥️♥️♥️

Hi Brianna, I come from a family of artificial trees and my husband from real trees. After 31 years of marriage...an artificial tree has been the winner in this home. They have actually shrunk in size as well. I now have a beautiful Ballard Design bucket tree that is very realistic and goes with my country/ primitive holiday decor. Depending on how you decorate it really does change the look. I love it. I clean homes for a living and it is challenging with live trees. I do like the look of live trees, but they need to be cared for properly to look great and not be a hazard for pets and children.
Stocking stuffers... my daughter always loved the holiday socks. I would buy themed socks throughout the year and put them in her stocking. Just the holiday socks this year are soo adorable! At 27, she still counts on them. Hope you enjoy your trip. Your daughter was soo cute helping roll your luggage to the door.
We do artificial trees. But if you have an outlet plug near your tree, get the balsm wallflower from B&BW and plug it in. It smells just like a real tree 😊
We get a real tree each year , and each year i cry putting on the ornaments that my loved ones got us and now they are in heaven , but i love Christmas and watching my boys faces as they decorate. love your family

We get artificial ones... here in the Caribbean, the Christmas trees look a bit different from those abroad... but we did get a real one a few years ago. We decorated it and put it outside on our porch and we got the artificial one for inside because it's way less mess.
Absolutely so obsessed with all of your decorations ( as per usual ) & love watching how you decorate and put them up, but I would definitely be curious about how you put them away when each season is over & how you keep it all organized! Alsooo congrats on 100k ❤❤
We have artificial trees and I agree it’s a hard time of the year my dad passed away dec 5 th 2017. So it is so hard being so close to Christmas.. bless you and your beautiful family...

My boys love bath stuff. Crayola has bath slime (who knew!?), bath bombs, and bath colored foam. They love the week of fun with all this stuff. Gets them clean and just washes off with water. Win for mom!

Hi Breanna!!! Just a quick idea for stocking stuffers. I went to Dollar Tree and managed to find some diy piggy banks, hair ties, characterized toothbrush holders, that came with personalized toothpaste/toothbrush, diy airplanes, glitter manicure sets with the cutest little carry bag, and so much more. I appreciate the hacks that quick, simple, and less costly. Also for my husband I went on Dollar Shave Club for their $5 starter kits, a wallet, etc. I like to get the items that I know he will use regularly. Hopefully this helps.
We actually have always used an artificial tree and have been quite happy with them. Your tree looks lovely.
We always have done an arrificial tree.however this year we plan on a real tee for Christmas. My husband passed away almoat 2 months ago.i cant seem to put up the lights or inflatibles outside of our home. Its too hard. I completely understand how difficult it can be hanging ornaments awell. You are continued in my thoughts and prayers aswell in the passing of your dad this year.Your home and tree are just gorgeous.God bless you and Your family.
Do you have tips for travel anxiety? I always get anxious while sitting in the airport. It’s not about safety, it’s about making sure I get on the plane. Lol I pace in front of the gate until boarding.
We have two artificial tree's and I love it:) I am super sentimental and I like the idea of having the same tree year after year. Plus we always decorate early in November so the tree last longer than a real one. Love your videos Bri! Merry Xmas!

For boys stocking stuffer small race cars, small action figures/toy soldiers. Crayons can go for both boy and girls. Dollar tree also usually has small coloring books.
Girls my daughter always loved nail polish, “lipgloss” = chapstick small Barbie dolls.
For either gender bath crayons. Bath toys/animals you can spilt a package up if you have more than one. Age appropriate snacks. I always gave my daughter fruit snacks she always called it candy.
For adults candy, gift cards, makeup for women.
Always a real tree the family time we spend going to chop it down, and the smell it fills the house with ❤ couldn't imagine christmas without it
It was hard for me to leave my children when they were little. They are adults now. We still talk via Facetime when I travel. We have an artificial tree, but I do enjoy the smell of the live ones. Safe travels and enjoy. ❤

We are team artificial for sure!!! We have 4 trees in our house so artificial is so much easier to maintain. I hang pine scented sticks in the tree and does the trick!!! Your tree is beautiful!
The last few years since we got married, we have a real tree as our main tree in the living room. All the other rooms in the house with a tree have a fake tree. I actually just put up the fake trees and put the lights and skirts on all the trees last night and we’ll do the ornaments and vlog it this weekend! It’s my little ones first Christmas so he can’t help just yet but he loves the lights already!

I usually put in my husbands favorite coffee and snacks and maybe a gift card to one of his favorite stores. I’m not sure what to do for my little ones first stocking but I’m thinking his favorite teething crackers and puffs and some onesies and socks and things like that. My mom always did socks, candy, and a new CD or movie for me and my sister. I also love card games so I think that would be a cool idea for stockings.

My husband and I always get each other lottery tickets for our stockings. We also get all are kids new spin toothbrushes for the stockings every year. They love that!

I get the hubs beard care stuff, funky work socks, and sometimes a pop (he's very into fandom stuff). I get the kids mystery packs of stuff (like legos, slime or putty, mini pops, or imaginext), candy canes filled with candy, pez, bath bombs, play shaving kits or bath crayons/paints. I always get Disney and Harry Potter stuff (key chain, earrings, minnie ears, other jewelry, car deals). Stuff like that.

Decorating the tree with my kids is such a beautiful time to create memories. They always love to see the ornaments and the new ones we accumulate each year. We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving its an artificial tree, much easier.♡ my favorite time of the year!

We were all real trees until this year. I am done with paying $70 for a tree that dries up in 2 weeks, vacuuming needles constantly, remembering to water... so I got an artificial one this year. My husband was mad but it looks lovely and if we need the scent, I use Christmas tree wax melts or Fresh Balsam candles.

A stocking stuffer that my boyfriend loves is a bottle of hot sauce! He takes it with him to work. But any snacks make him happy too. I also thought about getting him a gift certificate to get his hair cut at one of those salons that go all out and do hot towels and stuff. Men are so tricky!
And we do an artificial tree, a lot less mess but I do miss the smell of a real tree!

Love your vlogs! I get an artificial tree. The scent of a real tree absolutely kills my sinuses. Both my son (3) & I have a terrible sinus problem & scents are one of our main triggers. But even if that weren't the case, I still prefer an artificial tree, it saves money on having to purchase a tree every single year. I'm quite a frugal gal, lol! Plus the artificial tree lasts much longer. I like to put my tree up from the 1st of November and leave it up straight to the end of January! I like to hold on to the Christmas season for as long as possible, lol. I love my artificial trees!
I always had an artificial tree growing up because my mom is allergic to real pine! My husband and I have an artificial at the moment because it's one less expense during the holidays, but once we're a little bit less tight for money we want to start getting a real tree every year. Hopefully before our little one is old enough to remember because I want to start a tradition of always picking out a real tree!

We had real tree’s when I was little, but started getting artificial trees and haven’t turned back since. It’s just so much easier and not near as messy. However, I do miss the process of going as a family to pick one out, but we still make memories decorating it.

Always artificial! Here in Florida I saw in her news that a couple got a real tree and when they got home it had a snake in it ! That has ruined it for me, I was already paranoid about fires, watering and pine needles, now snakes ! 😳 I love how you pack and you always inspire me to be more organized !
