- I've been thinking it would be fun to see a comparison of me on my hardtail and a friend on a full suspension enduro bike to see if I can keep! I took out my Diamondback carbon Sync'r hardtail and my friend is on a Giant Reign enduro bike.
We are riding Mt Fromme on the North Shore, because there are awesome trails there. But one advantage I have here is that I am more familiar with these trail than my friend Wesley.
Will I be able to keep up to my friend? Could I even outride him or will he leave me in the dust? Watch to find out!

I can't handle the fact that you have the chest mounted gopro just for audio, just use a lav mic. That way you are more comfortable. Anyway 🤣 love your videos man!

the sync'r is decent on the descents, but there's some seriously capable hardtails out there. you'd be surprised
This reminded me of the canyon boss races Need for Speed Carbon. It's always nice to see a hardtail against a full sus.
Great to see a video like this, basically my weekly ride with all my buddies on enduro rigs and my hard tail. For me, I don’t love trails like 7th but enjoy the flow of Expresso etc on a hardtail. The Syncr is a great bike but it might be interesting to see how a bike with more aggressive geo would make a difference. I love my slack hard tail and always feel quite the bad ass until I see some guy with a unicycle doing the same North Shore trails 🤙🤙

My friend and I are planning on fixing up the landing for wardens gap this weekend. So if you go up fromme to try it, it should be in really good.
You should come down to south washington and ride some sick places like thrillium in yacolt burn area or go to post canyon(lots of flow and big jumps in hood river Oregon) sandy ridge is near too and has one of the best jumpslines in all of Oregon (20 min away from Portland)

Try mullet to get the stack higher. And flattens the head angle.
I think a reverse mullet definitely isn't worth it.

Newbie to trails and just bought a roscoe, are you meant to run the suspension as soft as possible until you bottom out too much and raise it if so?

I ride 17psi front 19psi rear. 2.8 inch wide tubeless tires. I weigh ~220lbs and ride a hard tail.
