This made me realize how much of the epicness of these fights is just lost after you've done them a lot of times, especially when you see everything in slow motion like this. Such an amazing looking game.
this is great because in slow motion you can see details of the animation that you normally miss, like the way they make some hits seem like that have real impact, and the fluidity of movement.
I always play 8-player instances with the camera fully zoomed out, so I tend to miss out on all the finer details on offer in these fights. Thank you for showcasing them. Amazing video.
So awesome, so chilling yet some flaws, but I believe that it could have been too much as for the length of the video. I'm obviously talking about the missing primals, but should I say that no one dared to quote Ultima above any other primals ?
I wonder how some parts of this were recorded. All the same, even though we're now in stormblood, I watch this every day simply because it makes the game feel so cool
BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of all the joy (and... pain....) of fighting the extreme versions for the first time. The edit at 1:02 where the ninja in the frame seems to just smoothly transition between the cuts was my favorite. Also the timing with the music and Diamond Dust at 3:40 was also great. Thanks for these great videos! :)
Hey denmo (°w°)/" Love your videos, and this is definitely my favourite FFXIV video on the internet, just perfect. Flattery aside, do you think you'll ever be able to make one of these with the Coil of Bahamut? Even just Final Coil would be enough, I think it'd turn out wonderful, and most of the community just loves Coil in general... It'd be great if you could answer, and again, you're awesome
Trial roulette is still the best way to pass time in this game. Sure, you probably aren't getting much in the way of loot or... well, anything, really, but I don't care. I love going through these fights. Whenever someone tells me that level 50 content is outdated, I realize they probably mean there's no point in doing them because of the lack of relevant loot. But isn't the point of the game to have fun? That's why I said on reddit that there was a crapton of content for casual players in the form of all the level 50 dungeons and trials, and well, I got downvoted for it. Meh, I don't know how to deal with FFXIV's community.
+KyvannShrike The reddit is mostly populated by "Hardcore players" who have to be the first to have everything and demand Square cater to their every need.
The community on Reddit is mostly casual. I have to disagree with you saying it's mostly hardcore, because it isn't. Complaining about hte difficulty of content, lack of content, and class balance doesn't make you a hardcore raider, it makes you a casual whiner.
Nice timing @3:42. You have good tastes in music haha. Btw where are the King Mog, Odin, Phoenix, and Bahamut encounters?? Couldn't get a group to get those in the vid?
+YUXKE Phoenix is kind of spoilery, and Bahamut is... well... actually both of them are kind of in a separate category aren't they, being that they are harder than any EX encounter as they are part of a raid?
+KyvannShrike I wouldn't think so since those raid bosses are pretty outdated easy content unsynced. The title just says Primal battles in general for the most part anyway
+Dajellomon They are not considered traditional Primals. Odin is something more of a parasite, Bahamut is just an undead dragon brought back to life, and The Good King Moogle Mog is something like Jesus Christ.
I know this is old, but you do realise that Bahumat is always referred to as the *Elder Primal*, right? He is the most powerful Primal in terms of lore.
Christian Floyd its not meant to be a showcase of the game in General this is denmos presentation of the primals and their powers. like most of dens work it figures music not from ffxiv as hes doing funnys or dances while using ffxiv as the base. its what he's always done
if you wanted a real show case then im sure happy or verymerri or dude where is my spoon wouod be good choices for that. with den its pure friendly entertainment here
This made me realize how much of the epicness of these fights is just lost after you've done them a lot of times, especially when you see everything in slow motion like this.
Such an amazing looking game.
Not only is the editing, framing, and transitioning top-notch as always, but THE SHIELD at 4:53. Beyond perfect. Well done, sir.
+denmomcstronghuge Just awesome. As +DeadN-Gon said, the editing, timing, everything about this is amazing! Makes me wish I was still able to play.
Haurchefant gives my breath meaning, and reason to my step. Damn you will always be my boy 😭😭😭😭
Ravana: ABANDON REASON, KNOW ONLY WAR
Me as a PLD main: Our battle will be legendary!
One of the main reason's I keep playing this game is because the boss fights are are so beautiful and epic. It really pumps you up.
Stop the Time 2 with Stormblood Primals would be amaaaaaazing.
With how quick we try to take down the primals in every trial, we sometimes forget how awesome they can look.
this is great because in slow motion you can see details of the animation that you normally miss, like the way they make some hits seem like that have real impact, and the fluidity of movement.
Makes me miss playing with my friends. I'm all alone now.
Just keep sending those returner invites. One of my friends just cameback after 5 years!
I live for that transition at 1:00. And the timing at 3:33. So good I felt like I needed to pause and have a cigarette. Good fucking job Denmo.
Primal fights are gorgeous when people aren't rushing to get their ponies or tokens
Dog damn. Denmo the ninja at ramuh and shiva transition close to 1 min. DUUDE YEAAAHHHH
Quality editing and song choice as always Denmo
Came back to this Masterpiece and really enjoing it ♥
Wow! Nicely done! You take us to places in this game that are whole new dimensions!
never realized at 4:24, Ravana's ultimate uses two Ley Lines.
Great video!!
But poor Odin cries because he was forgotten once more XD
I love the camera angles you're able to get! Such unique views for some of the fights, it's amazing.
We go in, help the weak, stay the upset, and kill a god. The usual Warrior of Light shtick.
I love watching this. Brilliant showcase of the primals up through 3.0.
I always play 8-player instances with the camera fully zoomed out, so I tend to miss out on all the finer details on offer in these fights.
Thank you for showcasing them. Amazing video.
Still one of my favorites
Very impressive ^^ well done, Sir
I want a loop of the part where Ravana does his ultimate. The slow motion combined with the music just makes it look so awesome.
Fantastic editing, my favorite primals, AND music I can dance to? SUBSCRIBED! You, sir, are amazing!!
0:39 luv the way he moves ^^
Did everyone see me mess up my Ninja rotation in slow motion?! I sure did!
Nice! I love the Bismark camera angles the most!
Also bonus the shield in Thordan intro. (/thumbsup)
So awesome, so chilling yet some flaws, but I believe that it could have been too much as for the length of the video.
I'm obviously talking about the missing primals, but should I say that no one dared to quote Ultima above any other primals ?
This is indeed the most amazing FFXIV Video i have ever seen
I got so excited when I saw your channel had been updated. As always, I was blown away by another amazing video!! Thank you!!!
You may have missed other primals, but it is still pretty good footage for the ones you chose, thanks for another awesome video Denmo!
lots of camera angles are awesome
This game is absolutely gorgeous
Those Ravana shots got me feelin some type of way
awesome song! i love the way u edit the movie
I wonder how some parts of this were recorded.
All the same, even though we're now in stormblood, I watch this every day simply because it makes the game feel so cool
more lit than life itself thumbsup denmo

SE can easily use this to promote the game :) gj and ty for sharing
Dayum, it looks very good! I recommend putting it to best HD resolution and full screen. Good job!
I really like the song
Fantastic work...looks impressive in slow motion
Awesome video! You should make one where you encounter every raid turn like BCOB, SCOB, FCOB, ALEX SAVAGE.
fantastic video!!! super excited to see more form you. 😀
those are some fancy fade-outs. love it.
This is sooooooo cool! Well done!
I love the music you find!!
Awesome vid
i live for this
Amazing as always!
Wow nicely done
Very cool!
You forgot Odin tho!
You make the best videos.
Good music taste mate :)
not a big fan of the music but this is awesome, primals are the best fights with the t12 and t13 for me.
Great video, Denmo! At Fanfest, hopefully you can parody this, by just recording different angles of Soken and Koji Fox :P Just an idea.
Rip Odin.
so good
VERY hypnotic :-3
Top notch editing :)
denmo 10 out 10. awesome job bro!!!
Amazing...
Love your work! :D
Very nice!!
den den if you can keep these going from the reverse alex play and this these are effing amazing
Love it!
very nice montage ;)
Primals never looked this sexy. j/k, but my goodness, you outdid yourself!
Beautiful ;)
God !
You forgot the good king :3
+Asai I forgive say, Odin and Phoenix because they aren't MS, but leaving out the Good King Moggle Mog is unforgivable!
Good!
Hey denmo (°w°)/"

I love it!!
slay mama
although i stopped playing this repetetive game i still love your content. These godly editing skills are dope af
The final is sad

+KyvannShrike The reddit is mostly populated by "Hardcore players" who have to be the first to have everything and demand Square cater to their every need.
I *am* one of those hardcore players buddy. I think you misunderstand the problem.
+KyvannShrike I think you misunderstand me, they have to have these things so much they don't enjoy the game, they make it a job
The community on Reddit is mostly casual. I have to disagree with you saying it's mostly hardcore, because it isn't. Complaining about hte difficulty of content, lack of content, and class balance doesn't make you a hardcore raider, it makes you a casual whiner.
+KyvannShrike I think they got too easy, is the problem.
I have been fighting myself to continue playing this game. I just hate how anti social it can be.
Good but yeah needs Moggle Mog!
Where was garuda's ultimate and moogle mog!
+jmdude411 Garuda's ultimate is pretty dull...
What about Odin, Phoenix and Bahamut?
No mog king? Literally the hardest battle of all of these through Duty Finder.
did somebody say stop and time in the same sentence?
2021😁
Nice timing @3:42. You have good tastes in music haha. Btw where are the King Mog, Odin, Phoenix, and Bahamut encounters?? Couldn't get a group to get those in the vid?

Color me subscribed.
No Thordan/Knights of the Round?
+SWBeta I should have watched all the way through, lol. nvm
+SWBeta Better question is, no Odin?
Frog primal is not here denmo qq
What about odin?
Why no Odin or Bahmunt or Mog?
+Dajellomon They are not considered traditional Primals. Odin is something more of a parasite, Bahamut is just an undead dragon brought back to life, and The Good King Moogle Mog is something like Jesus Christ.
I know this is old, but you do realise that Bahumat is always referred to as the *Elder Primal*, right? He is the most powerful Primal in terms of lore.
It's beautiful, but no mog desu
Why don't you work for SE, dude?
xdf
too saturated, my eyes hurt
I don't like that you didn't use music from the game. Bad showcase simply because of that.
Christian Floyd its not meant to be a showcase of the game in General this is denmos presentation of the primals and their powers. like most of dens work it figures music not from ffxiv as hes doing funnys or dances while using ffxiv as the base. its what he's always done
