Angelina will wave back at someone in the middle of a song and never miss a beat. Some performance coaches have said that is not desirable, but Angelina does things her way. She is totally comfortable in her own skin and is very open and honest about it.

The amount of elements are truly mind boggling and lays credence to why Angelina stated when interviewed by Nadia Neophytou, 'I have to say if it wasn't for the unconditional love that came from Billie Holiday's music, THERE WOULD NOT BE ANGELINA JORDAN TODAY'. She then added, 'I am very blessed that her music found me very early.' Angelina has heard all the great singers, but Billie is placed 'alone' by her at the top of the musical pedestal and is really her one and only true musical mentor. As stated, Billie invented unique forms of phrasing, breathy, whisper-like releases, going from talking to singing within specific lyrical lines, as well as emotive releases that had its genesis from the horrid life she lived when young, and Angelina is able to bring forth those emotions to the degree that listeners believe she has actually lived through all that heartache and pain.

More specifically, according to an article published the following month in _A-Magazine_ (the "A" standing for _Aftenposten_ ), she spent two days in Rainbow Studio in Oslo - 2017-11-22 and 2017-11-23 - recording her songs for the album. In all the videos we have of her singing in this particular vocal booth, she is wearing either a dark blue sweater, like here, or a dark red sweater. The article said she recorded "La Boheme" first-thing on 2017-11-23, and since she is wearing the red sweater (with a thicker pink sweater over it) in that video, that must mean this one was recorded on the first day, 2017-11-22. This particular fan-made "mashup" video used the CD audio in place of the original "ambient sound" picked up in the recording booth. That original audio can be heard here: ua-cam.com/video/79tM-Spcr1Q/v-deo.html Despite the video title, "Angelina Jordan rehearsal (I'm a fool to want you)", this was not just a rehearsal. It was an actual attempt at a "final take". About one-third of the take we are wacthing her sing was actually used on the album (all from the last half of the song). You can verify this by playing both videos simultaneously, synced up. It's rather hard to get the sync right from the beginning (but I actually did that once!), since the first half of the take was not used, but eventually, if you get it close enough, you can hear the two audios start to match up right after she flubs a line at the point in this mashup video where the CD cover image slides in from the side, covering her face. (To be _very_ specific: The first time she sings "Time and time again…" in the linked video, she messes up the end of it, "I said I'd leave you". But then the next line beginning "Time and time again" is when the two vocals sync up perfectly. Yes she's well known to do records in one Take. But we must be fair, this Audio is from the final mix of the CD. Because the video is from the phone of Mery in the boost and the Band is out there in the studio. She can listen to them in her headphones. I agree capstan50g the first take with the mistake is breathtaking as it is almost acapella for the listener but Angie has the music in her headphones, we can only hear the music faintly in the video footage. I am also very pleased that both videos are available to watch.
