I think it's good to have products like this so newer people to the hobby can afford to have a fun rip without the degen cost.
Yeah dropping 350+ on a hobby just doesn't make it approachable to newbies or even some veterans sometimes. In this economy ...sht I get it.
It’s good to see a price point that is reasonable. Hoops is a good product for beginners. I do like the inserts and it is great to have this years rookie class in a product finally.
New collector here! Slowly learning by watching your videos was going to open the same box from my LCS but went with 2021 chronicles draft picks instead and pulled a gold Ayo and imidiately thought of you!
That base reminds me so much of 90s sports cards in general that it has a bit of a nostalgia look to them.
I'm the weirdo that loves Hoops. I've been collecting since 1986. I grew up with hoops,Skybox, Fleer and Topps.
Hoops is nostalgia for me. First basketball pack I ever ripped was Hoops.

Last year purchased 3 hobby boxes of nba hoops didn’t get anywhere close back what I paid for the boxes .. only buy this product for a fun rip and for a very long hold .. thanks for the great video bud

What sucks is living in a town that has no card shops close by (Phoenix is 1 1/2 hours away) sick of retail, but when I want to open, I have no patience to order and wait for a box to come lol

Hoops is a classic set. The thing with NBA Hoops EVERYONE knows this brand. The base has always been average. That's what makes their parallel special
Even tho most people not excited for Hoops its a nice cheaper box for people that want to be able to open a hobby box

I like Hoops. Maybe not "investment" grade very often, but of the lower end stuff, it may be my favorite. Hoops was when I was a kid too.

This was probably the most confusing rip I've ever done. So many different versions and colors of the cards. I pulled our hometown boy Ayo though as my auto. So I'm not complaining.

NBA hoops is a good price for what you get. The Doncic and Banchero cards were the best in that box.

I like Hoops for some wax to rip, $120 for an Auto isn't bad. Retail isn't really worth it, but good for the kids.
That Paolo is pretty cool, for only 130 I think I'm definitely going to get a box

Fun rip! Not a big basketball guy but it's awesome to finally see the first alumni from my school in the NBA since Steve Nash with Jalen Williams, so might have to rip some to chase his cards
i love the video, i have just started collecting cards so getting a pack like this would be amazing the build onto the collection, i just don't know if any cards have certain values.
This year's Hoops base reminds me of 2016-17 Complete.
The Jam-tastics look really good and I believe they are somewhat short printed, there were only 2 in a 10 box break I was in.

I’ve been collecting Hoops for the last 4yrs mostly because I’m on a low budget. Not in it for the money, but to get a card of everyone. Hoops is best for that. I’ll get a joint box and blasters once I get caught up from Christmas spending 😵💫
