When Max wishes for his annoying little brother, Felix, to be whisked away by unknown evil forces, he gets more than he bargained for. Armed only with an marker and a hope of undoing what he has just done, he sets out on a perilous journey across deserts, eerie lantern-lit bogs, ancient temples and lush green forests to get his younger sibling back. Along the way Max gains the powers to manipulate his environment and overcome seemingly impossible obstacles.
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a fantastical adventure. Max, equipped with his magical Magic Marker, will climb, fight and draw his way through a world of challenging physics-puzzles and frantic platforming.
During his adventure, the Marker will gain more and more incredible powers that allow Max to manipulate and use the expansive environments to his advantage: Draw a tree into existence and use it as a bridge. Pull a giant pillar of dirt out of the ground and use it to raise a boulder onto a platform. Create vines and use them to swing across gaping chasms.
These are just some of the tools at Max' disposal as he struggles to rescue his kid brother from the clutches of the evil Mustacho -- and he'll need every one, because Mustacho's henchmen are after him and the very world itself is his enemy.

Trust me - You stole back your kid brother like a boss!

Why is mine different from yours? I’m stuck on the ‘roots secret’ in trying to get the other charm thingy but I can’t because the branches are too small I don’t understand this part..HELP
think there should be a sequal: max and the curse of the magic marker so max then has to get the marker from another villan while you can also play two players on the second player would be feilx there wepons new and impoved magic markers it would be dumb that max got a magic marker when he brarely started he didnt like the new one + the new vill and could take over the planet / demension
you right but this is imposible becouse creator of this beutiful game studio press play is closed by microsoft.I don't know why but this game is my childhood, horever this game hasn't got big plot but for my is so deep and be memoried.Ps: max tcob is sequel of previous work max and magic marker it's still good game but i don't think this is a prequel, this games has got a lot diffrences

? At 1:05:08 the huge monster starts chasing you. You have to jump up the wooden structures while the monster is smashing them behind you. You come up to the trench that you must swing across and I see on yours the vine is already for you to swing on. In my game I have to draw the vine which means I have to stop pull out the marker draw the vine jump on then start my slide down the hill. The monster always catches me, I can only get to sliding half way down the hill. If I did not have to stop and draw the vine I would probably make it. In your version I see the vine looks like its already there. How did you manage to get it drawn before you go to the trench? As far as I know you can not run and pull out the marker at the same time, and by me doing that it lets the monster gain on me.
