Thank you for your kind remarks. I do really like this. But to be frank I love them all whether it’s chariot, wars, or all the way up to modern I just enjoy collecting modeling and hanging out with my friends. I never seem to win a game. I must be a terrible inept general. But at least I can paint.😂😂😂 Once again, thank you for your encouragement
How does that happen? I ask myself. I think they are normal until I put them out there and am personally astonished. A little embarrassed tbh. But it does look good
So do I. I didn’t get a lot of comments on this army. But it was one that I endeavor to do just to add to my Renaissance collection. I’m glad that you like it. And if there’s anything you think I could do better ……I love feedback.

That’s exactly what I have it is they’re like real pike, and if you’re not careful, you will be on the wrong end of that stick. But I have found that people playing with my figures are incredibly sensitive and respectful. You have to respect the figures most of my figures have drilled out hands, and I use for spears and javelins heads of straight pins. right I mean actual pin nails that’s nasty
Hi Peter, I would be more than glad to help you. I think you have to be clear what size you want to collect. I stick to mostly 15 mm. But others do 25 or 28 sometimes 10 mm or lower. Once you’ve determined that I can help you. My figures came from multiple companies, blue moon, 15 mm, Khurasan and some others. Some don’t exist anymore. But these two companies have wonderful figures and a good range of
It is sobering to think that the Italian Wars lasted half a century, basically a lifetime. It's a neglected conflict even in academic scholarship on the sixteenth century unfortunately
I agree it’s hard to find good material, but I have found some very interesting ones that I enjoy reading and you’ll get a good feel for it. But I have to say it’s one of my favorite wargaming genres. I like the pageantry, the nights, the pikes, etc. it almost lasted as long as the 100 years war, but it has only a fraction of the attention

I’m building a mostly Blue Moon confederate division for 1862 based on Whitings and later Hoods division so I’ll have a look at them thanx mate.
I’ve also bought a lot of AB miniatures to mix in for more variety since they’re close in size at about 18mm
Blue moon are nice for sure. 18mm looks good.
