Awesome instructions! I made one of these, but then my wife asked if I could make one using the snake knot instead. I wanted it to end up looking the same with only the long part of the lanyard being the main color. I was wondering how you might do that because it is not quite as simple as what you did here.
Hello, I'd like to buy some of the break away units as in this video, but can't seem to find them on your website, except in a buckle kit. Can you provide some assistance or a link please? Much appreciated
HEY Shawn why not finish the top of the sinnet with a 4 strand diamond knot, it looks real nice with it. but it still looks great the way you did it your the man
Do you know if there is a "pounds for release" on the breakaway clip? For example using a lanyard for a neck knife - want it to release if in an emergency, but not to release with the hard tug to pull the knife. Thanks
I use these for my neck knife and I've found it works well enough to pull the knife out but can give it a hard yank and it'll come away from my neck if it's caught on something.
Hi, i need your help please. I want to make a Kubotan (keychain for self defence). I have a iron cilinder and i must wrap it. I have used the round crown sinnett but the wrap twist in one direction. In one direction it's tight but If i move the wrap in the opposite direction of tight the wrap move around and i can see the cilinder inside throught the paracord. Can you help me? Maybe it's an error and i don't tight correctly or maybe i can use another knots... Please help me..thanks

to tie a knot, you could also pull out some of the inner strand, and make a knot with the gutted cord, for sure it won't slip out of the connector

What is the break weight of the breakaway buckles?
How much cord did you use? What was total length when done?

I would have left the camo cord to go around the neck much more colourful than the boring grey in my opinion
Great tutorial my friend. Cheers, Mal

If it's hard for anyone to start the lighter or hold it right try using the lighters you use to start cooking those long ones
Where to buy the smoothing tool?
In other words you are going 11 o'clock next 2 o'clock then 4 o'clock and your final cord when you go through the cord you will be at 7 oclock
Where is your 3 headed torch lighter ?
The knot is a 3d granny knot
