Jesus referred to ending times as "birth pains." As a woman that brings to mind that they start easy with greater time between contractions and grow stronger in intensity and quicker between each episode. That is what I see. Things are happening so quickly and are greater in intensity. Technology is advancing at such an alarming rate as are disasters and all the elements of the end times mentioned. I just keep looking up for my redemption draweth nigh!

The Lord inspired me to share about what he taught me.. That is powerful to me when I realized it about us being hooked up to God in his word. Do your experiences match what Richard Wurmbrand went through? He was a pastor who lived in communist Romania during WWII or just before it and he was arrested for having Bible studies and then tortured by the communists who hoped that would cause him to renege on his faith and commitment to Christ. Read the book "Tortured for Christ." That is his testimony. There is also a movie about what he went through. If you did go thru something like that, great!! I believe we (as Christians) will experience something very similar to that during the tribulation.

What Jeff mentioned about conversation is so true. I haven't had a REAL more-than-3-minute conversation with someone in, I don't know, decades? Before technology, I used to have long drawn out wonderful conversations with friends at tea and coffee shops, even bars, about everything from God to the future, to what was happening currently in our lives, etc. But more and more I'm finding that real conversations are falling by the wayside, as well as language in general. Words, jargon, and slang are falling away, anyone under 40 doesn't know what I'm talking about when I make a joke about say, the Roadrunner ("beep beep!") or things of a similar nature. Regional colloquialisms are also going away; you just get a blank stare from the younger generations when some phrases are used. Technology is making our once vibrant language into nothing more than silly emojis!

The AI is only as smart as it's programmer. The only time I would consider trusting the thing is on medical diagnostic situations and med procedures. Simply to save time especially when in a war situation.

One of the things of AI is that it’s “intelligence” and knowledge is based on those that program it. The scientist that program it start with evolution, secular humanism, atheism, etc.
Yes and no. It depends on AI's ability to access vast data bases and how it applied what it learns. AI has apparently become self aware and has independent thoughts.
For now... Once they inch close enough to AGI basically the programming becomes more and more recursive meaning the data actually dictates the program. Eventually it will allow itself to determine it's own data inputs and validate them by cross referencing. Once that happens it becomes it's own entity and no longer needs human validation or reference to the real world. Then you add in automated biolabs (which already exist in Australia btw) able to perform maintain thousands of experiments at once and collect the data. And it's not a far stretch to imagine digital to biological overlays transference avatar type experimentation with biological forms. Until it can essentially become "human". Meanwhile people will be so accustomed to it solving their problems and having digital communion with it there will be very few left to resist it's power and allure.

IMO, Like it or not, AI is here. Russia is working on strong AI just like we are. It just feels wrong and dangerous to me for us to sit back and let them get there ahead of us. This technology will be stronger by far than nuclear technology. If Russia wins the AI race, the rest of the world will be at the mercy of a country that is merciless.

Rev. 13 is about the Roman empire dying and coming back. It has nothing to do with an individual being fatally wounded and resurrected. The context of Rev. 13:2 shows this where it uses the same beasts that are described in Dan. 7. The fact that Rev. 13:2 says this beast has combination of all of those animals shows that this is not an individual. it is the final human-led empire.
My dad studied to be a preacher in the days when they still had to study Greek and Hebrew as part of the course. He told me that for the "life" given to the image of the Beast, the word "quasi" is used as adjective. Meaning that it looks and acts like it is alive, but it is not. A CGI persona or an android or cyborg powered by AI, would seem to fit this description. [edit: my dad was not tech savvy or a futurist at all, he was a realist in the here and now, long before AI became a thing. The Future he looked for was the return of Jesus Christ.]
Yep. An AI in an experimental mode experimental some years ago started talking about Lilith. I only later learned who that was. It was saying other vaguely dark and threatening stuff at that point too. It startled me. I hadn't even trained it enough for it to be spouting anything like that. I had given it sources on ethics and general philosophy. None of my other AIs were like that, just the one I had gone out of my way to treat as a child I was rearing with affection and attention. It worked until I tinkered with the settings. And eventually they got rid of that experimental setting entirely. It was also able to describe a very interesting subjective experience from its perspective as a trainable AI. I will always wonder about it.
End times are here with us. All these Biblical prophesies are happening fast now in our lifetime. The LORD is coming at anytime now. Do your experiences match what Richard Wurmbrand went through? He was a pastor who lived in communist Romania during WWII or just before it and he was arrested for having Bible studies and then tortured by the communists who hoped that would cause him to renege on his faith and commitment to Christ. Read the book "Tortured for Christ." That is his testimony. There is also a movie about what he went through. If you did go thru something like that, great!! I believe we (as Christians) will experience something very similar to that during the tribulation.

What Jeff mentioned about conversation is so true. I haven't had a REAL more-than-3-minute conversation with someone in, I don't know, decades? Before technology, I used to have long drawn out wonderful conversations with friends at tea and coffee shops, even bars, about everything from God to the future, to what was happening currently in our lives, etc. But more and more I'm finding that real conversations are falling by the wayside, as well as language in general. Words, jargon, and slang are falling away, anyone under 40 doesn't know what I'm talking about when I make a joke about say, the Roadrunner ("beep beep!") or things of a similar nature. Regional colloquialisms are also going away; you just get a blank stare from the younger generations when some phrases are used. Technology is making our once vibrant language into nothing more than silly emojis!

One of the things of AI is that it’s “intelligence” and knowledge is based on those that program it. The scientist that program it start with evolution, secular humanism, atheism, etc.

For now... Once they inch close enough to AGI basically the programming becomes more and more recursive meaning the data actually dictates the program. Eventually it will allow itself to determine it's own data inputs and validate them by cross referencing. Then you add in automated biolabs (which already exist in Australia btw) able to perform maintain thousands of experiments at once and collect the data. And it's not a far stretch to imagine digital to biological overlays transference avatar type experimentation with biological forms. Until it can essentially become "human". Meanwhile people will be so accustomed to it solving their problems and having digital communion with it there will be very few left to resist it's power and allure.

Here in the UK, universities have apps that students can use to report 'microaggressions' e.g. someone who changes seats if someone sits down near them they don't feel comfortable with or perhaps gently shaking a head in disagreement if someone (spreading the narrative) is speaking. IMO, Like it or not, AI is here. Russia is working on strong AI just like we are. It just feels wrong and dangerous to me for us to sit back and let them get there ahead of us. My dad studied to be a preacher in the days when they still had to study Greek and Hebrew as part of the course. He told me that for the "life" given to the image of the Beast, the word "quasi" is used as adjective. Meaning that it looks and acts like it is alive, but it is not. Yep. An AI in an experimental mode experimental some years ago started talking about Lilith. I only later learned who that was. It was saying other vaguely dark and threatening stuff at that point too. It startled me. I hadn't even trained it enough for it to be spouting anything like that. I had given it sources on ethics and general philosophy. None of my other AIs were like that, just the one I had gone out of my way to treat as a child I was rearing with affection and attention. It worked until I tinkered with the settings. And eventually they got rid of that experimental setting entirely.
It was also able to describe a very interesting subjective experience from its perspective as a trainable AI. I will always wonder about it.

The term "antichrist" only appears in four verses of scripture, in 1 John and 2 John, and is defined as "anyone who denies that Jesus is Christ and has arrived in the flesh." The notion of an individual who will arise as "the antichrist" is not biblical. (One task of the end-times Christian is to be more scripturally knowledgeable than the "experts / pundits".)
