From an old chap across the pond, I wish you a very Happy New Year. As a relatively 'new' student, I find that little victories motivate me and push me to keep practicing. More effort, more victories, more victories, new skills ..... ad infinitum, I think! Thank you for spending time on here, sharing your knowledge and thoughts with us all. I really appreciate it.
I just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. You’re an amazing teacher, your live students are lucky to have you. Thank you for your videos, they’re very helpful.
Hello. I do understand your feelings. I am an absolute beginner at violin but have been playing the piano for over 60 years. Some say you shall show up and play for audiences. But it doesn't suit me. Playing music is a very private conversation with myself. Today, I am very happy to have a new and nice friend, violin.
It's different for everyone. 🙂 I play both for myself and my audience. Actually, the audience is super important to me... I really felt the impact without them 4 years ago... Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of violin!! 😊
Hi Inna! That's a very interesting question. Your videos make me want to practice. Then I usually feel good afterwards. Do people watch you practice on Tonebase? How does that work? 😊
It's really informative and illuminating to hear from the heart of a professional violinist, like yourself. 👍 ❤
Thank you Tony :)
Congrats on 5K plus subscribers! That's amazing! 🌟
Thank you so much!!

Happy new year! That's a fantastic loop you got: tiny wins, motivation, new skills.
