Absolutely, beautiful in its own very different way 👌. And continuously changing, that's probably why I'm still going with a smile on my face after weeks of walking!
Well planned Scott, keeping off road for the most part. Heck of a contrast between the Highland,s and gentle Wales/England. Were so blessed in the UK and take it for granted.
This journey helped me truly appreciate exactly what you said. And to appreciate what I could so easily take for granted day to day, but try my best not to!
Another fantastic episode for me ,great scenery and good of Andy to join you and give you support. I can imagine the panic when you couldn't find your phone
Yes especially when trying to meet up with someone, and already running later than promised because of looking for the phone! Its was great to meet up with Andy and his family again, and it wouldn't be the last time they'd be helping me along!
Thanks Andy, using the strawberry line does seem to make sense - though apparently a bridge and land access has since added a section of path along the coast filling in a gap between Weston & Clevedon!
@@endorphins479 You almost walked past my front door - I live in Abergavenny just off offas dyke, I walk a lot in the Brecon Beacons and covered 120kms of the southern upland way last year in 5days and I am hoping to retire in the next year so I can have more time to do some of these longer walks, and I should really start with the ones on my door step Offas Dyke and The Beacons Way. I am really looking forward to your next episodes since we lived for many years in Cornwall and have walked many parts of the coast path. Once again thank you for such a brilliant series of videos
That sounds like a great situation to be in - about to retire but with plenty to look forward to and the health to do so! I think I already made it pretty clear how much I enjoyed Offas Dyke - the bit of it I did at least
Really enjoying following you on your journey. You are taking it all in your stride, (sorry for the pun), making it look easy fella! All the best for the remainder along my beloved SWCP. Looking forward to seeing your perspective of it. Atb and well done for your achievements thus far.
Thanks mate I think the fact I'm enjoying it so much is what keeps me going each day what a beautiful Island we live on. SWCP was a dream come true for me.
I think it's credit to the amazing island we live on and its variety that kept me motivated each day, and anticipation of what was ahead (the SWCP for example). It surprised me too - thought I'd have been weary of it well before this point
So would the Severn have been the first decent stretch of water you've crossed or seen since the Forth ? Must have been a good feeling getting out of Wales, and although still loads to go, a sense of being on the final "section".
Absolutely, that bridge over the Severn was a huge milestone and realised I was feeling confident, but kept ma heid I think, thankfully! Another good reason to have accom booked to keep a steady pace I suppose and keep it to 1 day at a time
Fantastic videos , sat watching them all on a rainy windy day in Cornwall.
Thanks Carl. Rainy windy day in Cornwall - that sounds familiar!
Brilliant again Scott , completely different scenery from the Cape ,always a great watch ,nearly there ,thank you for sharing 🤗👏

Amazing scenery.

Thanks Paul 👍

Thank you for another enjoyable installment of your walk to Land's End.I used the Strawberry Line going north on my LEJOG.

Brilliant again Scott. Is it just me or did that episode just seem like one big pub crawl? 🤣🤣
Ha ha yes I'm considering getting in touch with Strava and asking them to add "Pub Crawl" as an activity type.
@@endorphins479 🤣🤣
One of the best pubs in Chepstow, grew up there👍
Lucky you! Great town, and setting
You did well to stay optimistic on this stretch. But should be much better on the SWCP..
