Outstanding final model, Outstanding colour. I'm going to give the masking tape and cling film a go.

Impressive car Paul the color is stunning. I found the length of this video just fine for the amount of work done. Can't wait for your next build.

Stunning results Paul. 2 or 3 parts is perfect and the length of this video is perfect. I'll be looking forward to seeing the Aventador next my friend.

    Absolutely cracking build Paul.
I started to drill out the seats as you did and noticed the same alignment issue so filled it in and sanded back.
    Have a great Crimbo

Great video as always Paul... 2 part series is all you need I think...unless there is something more to the kit than normal...video length is fine too me..the car looks fantastic.

I think the format works well especially with the voice over. I did feel the 50mins run time a little long but, dont think it warrented another part; I personally paused it then came back to it. The build and finnish was up at another level again. Dont know how much further it can go but I am sure you will push the envelope. Certainly a model you can be proud of many contgratulations and thanks.

Hey Tony, thanks for the feedback yeah that was the issue i didnt have enough content to warrant another part, i really want to try to keep them to 30-40 mins max if i can :) Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching and commenting - Paul :)

I cut the windshield and backwindow masks backing paper in half. That way it's much easier to align correctly. Press the other side of the masking tape on the glass, then peel the other backpaper half off and voila, You have easily masked windows.

Very nice work Paul! Really like the way you've chosen to show the work, the clips with dubbed audio work very well. If you're looking for an alternative to the Tamiya metal stickers, check out the hobby design metal decals. They're water transfer, come with the correct red inlay and look great

I'm building the Aoshima's Mine's R34 GT-R and the seats had the same issue w the harness holes. I drilled them in an angle from the front side downward and yet I couldn't get them aligned proper. Luckilly the backside doesn't have detailed bezels like the front has.

Paul, another great video. Side question, don’t have an airbrush but do you have any suggestions for masking when brush painting so it doesn’t seep under the tape?

Is that some kind of putty you're using to hold your painted parts to the sticks?
