Mozart been real quiet since this dropped
He's cooking a disstrack
Lord of Lies, a title attributed to Asmodeus
It’s just PERFECT as the final Cassalanters reveal theme. Will certainly use it at the grand finale of our year long D&D campaign!
Thanks you so much! Awesome tracks!
Hmm…the name sounds a bit like it could be Jarlaxle, but it could also be Manshoon, and the usage of “Lord” could hint towards the Cassalanters.
My guess would be the Cassalanters, as they’re the villain of the next season, and the description says the theme is dark.
"Lord of Lies" is one of the titles of Asmodeus, so it's almost certainly the Cassalanters.
Yeah, probably meant for the Cassalanters, with the Asmodeus reference and all, although technically Manshoon was a "lord" back when he was the real Manshoon and there was a Zhentil Keep and all.
Yeah, I deduced that once I heard the track. My initial comment was just speculation with nothing to go on but the title, and well...
Cassalanters - Asmodeus reference and nobles
Jarlaxle - The "Secret Lord" of Luskan, and a master liar
Mansion - "Lord" of the Zhentarim
So that was my thought process.
Man, I wish i'd found you sooner! We finished dragon heist a while ago, just finished frostmaiden, and are going into strahd. The tracks you've made for each campaign are amazing!
Welcome aboard and I am truly grateful for your support!!
Currently running Dragon Heist, only song I had matching the Cassalanters was “The Beggining” from the Demons Souls soundtrack, but now, this! This is perfect!!!
"Don't Ask where your purpose is
Don't ask what lies beyond the veil
Don't ask why you were called to be here
Ask who the enemy is
Any how they are so foolish to challenge someone as powerful as yourself"
-Jarlaxle D'aerthe
This one is truly a masterpiece omg!
Oh thank you so much!!
"Our children deserved better, and we failed. Can't you see? We are trying to do the right thing! How can that be wrong..?"
Oh, asmodeus. How we revere thee.
I can't believe I just found your channel. I'm running Dragon Heist for the first time in a few months and my players are going to be blown away by this music. You are incredibly talented and deserve WAY more views
Oho so this is what you meant with fitting for Strahd playing his organ! Once again you deliver masterful work
Thank you, I am really happy that you enjoyed it!!
Out of every track youve made so far this is my favourite one. Love the drama, tension and catchy but not overplayed melody.
Imagine, in your attempt to steal back the stone of goloor from the Cassalanter villa, you run into Amalia Cassalanter. In a botched attempt to knock her out, you end up killing her and who else approaches in just the nick of time but Victoro Cassalanter himself.
With no time to spare, he cries out in pain as he casts a spell. There is a cacophony of cracks and rumbles and the ground beneath your feat opens, revealing a chasm.
In Victoro’s grief and madness he destroys his villa and most of its inhabitants with a powerful earthquake spell.
Ah, yes! Perfect Cassalanters theme. Also I don't have the best ear for music, but I think I catch snatches of motifs from the Villainy theme you posted previously. If so, marvelous work!
You have a great ear! I used the exact same motifs, but on another scale :) I am truly happy that you enjoyed it!
I absolutly adore your work here. It feels majestic and oppressive !
Thank you for the great compliments, I really appreciate it!!
Absolutely amazing, easily one of your best pieces ever! And the versatility of the creepiness makes it super useful for any number of BBEGs.
Oh wow, what a great compliment! Thank you so much!
@@RPGMusicMaker out of curiosity, if one were to look to commission you for a custom track, what sort of price range would that theoretically look like?
@@Vaalgrum It always depends on the work charge :) The lenght, the complexity, the theme, etc. With all these infos I can usually give a price estimate!
@@RPGMusicMaker I'd be looking for a combat track, something between 1:30 - 3 minutes, and able to be looped (which, granted, most of your songs loop incredibly well even without the extended versions). Emphasis would be on drums and bass/tenor voices, similar to your ToA 4. Danger Lurks and RotFM 5. Norsu tracks, but with more of a desert / badlands vibe. Thematically, I'm looking for something I can use when the party finds themselves being attacked by the orcs and lizardfolk of the badlands, who often ride into battle on various monstrous mounts (giant scorpions, dinosaurs, wyverns, etc.).
If it helps, my mental image for this is the party camped out at an oasis feeling the earth rumbling, before climbing up a nearby dune to see the enemy riding in their direction, weapons shining in the harsh sunlight atop giant lizards. Kind of like Mad Max but in fantasy, if you will, as they'd have to make the choice to either stand and fight, or take their own mounts and make a run for it, leaving behind their cargo / loot wagons.
@@Vaalgrum I imagine this as you found the stone of golorr from another villain Jarlaxe comes out of the shadows and betrays you. While making the escape his goons explodes the walls so the players have a hard time escaping the layer and then he vanishes with elegance
As always, your work is superb!
THank you very much!!
This slaps
Thank you friend!!
Wonderful track!
Thank you my friend!!
Amazing! I will use it in my campaign!
I am really happy to hear it!! Thank you for the support
Very nice
Thank you so much!
extended version please, anyone!?
Tbh, I would use this theme if the party ever gets and uses the ritual book the classalanters own that lets perform a ritual to commune with Asmodeus.
maybe it's just the repeating strings and the pipe organ but this has me thinking prelude to Nightmare King Grimm
I love this theme and I will take it as a huge compliment :)! You are right that these are pretty much the same instruments that have the spotlight in both themes!
Fantastic as always! Definitely going to make use of these in an upcoming Liveplay. Have any plans for Stixhaven on the horizon?
Thanks a lot mate!! Do you mean for this album or for an upcoming adventure?
@@RPGMusicMaker just saw that there's a new wizards book coming out in December that got me excited for some school of wizardry type gaming. "Strixhaven : Curriculum of Chaos". Just lurking around for some Harry Potter style jams that are Livestream friendly... they're hard to find 😅
@@Atmoseeker I just saw it, it looks absolutely fantastic and I'm sure there will be some short themes about it very soon ;)!
@@RPGMusicMaker Hype! 💙 Man some short themes would be amazing!
