+Insidious Gamer idk bro i played the demo on the 4 and gameplay was awesome of course but I'm just not a huge fan of the cell shading they started doing in 2 onward. and to me 4 graphics look the same as revolution. personally as this is the next Gen game, I feel they could've done better.

storm 1 is winning in everything besides the updated graphics of next gen but it's not a big deal I'd take great game over graphics any day. all they really have to do is make this game playable on next gen and enhance the graphics including a multiplayer feature. this game will help make naruto playable again possibly make it to evo

It feels like they put a lot more effort into these UJ compared the latter games. I mean look at Jiraiya's UJ in this and compare it to the others. They had their own music and everything. It's not a competitive fighting game. they could have to the time.

I agree. Neji's Ultimaye is my favorite version out of any of the games cause its clear they put effort into the idea of hitting all the chakra points. In other games its no where near as good

In the ultimate ninja games existed three clases of finishers: ultimate jutsu, reversal(in some characters causes the transformación) and awakening(when happens once is transformes). Since Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm....the reversal finishers were eliminated because You don't know if your opponent You Will survive to the reversal(the new condition for awakening is have your hp in Orange)
Some exceptions are the characters who can transform by will(Hyugas Byakugan, uchihas Sharingan, the eight Gates modes, etc). In that case....they can use awakening finishers since the beggining.

The best finishers for me of Naruto ultimate ninja storm:
Sasuke's finishers 0:51-2:02
The third hokage finisher 9:48-10:15
Orochimaru finisher 11:10-11:34
Kabuto's finisher 11:38-12:04
And last but not least.. Itachi's finisher 13:02-13:28 now those are some scary and bad ass finishers! :D

Chris Banks the reason they shortened them up was because they wanted the games to appeal to people in the FGC community and while also pleasing fans of the series. I mean these juitsus look great and all but they also slow down the fast pace of the battles. Plus people like to spam ultimates alot.. I feel like they should put a turn on turn off button for long juitsu short juitsu.
Kenneth Smith JR hell yea, that's a good idea! They should have the gamers agree to have long jitsu's or short ones right before the battle starts, that way everyone wins.
@@kennethsmithjr7166 I've never watched a storm tournament because I don't find 3D arena fighters most of time appealing in a competitive aspect, but are players really landing these Ultimate moves?
Because it seems pretty hard to get one to land especially on someone who's supposed to be a high level competitor, unless there are cheesy unblockable set-ups.
These game often are just casual cash grab (Jump force/storm series/MHA/OPM) with most of the time bad mechanics and heavily unbalanced cast with. Unless you really like the source material it isn't worth, especially as a FG.

That tagline didn't lie, this was the best looking anime game at the time, and dare I say, still is!
The first Storm game was BY FAR the best Naruto game ever made. Unfortunately they had to fuck it up by making the ultimate moves no better than regular jutsu and making awakenings overpowered as fuck. I refuse to buy any sequels until they nerf awakenings and make special moves as awesome as the ones in this video.
they should totally do it with the ps4 and Xbox one they have the memory available to put in all these awesome special moves and then they can nerf awakening because the special moves are so powerful as well as putting back 3 health bars

These Ultimate Jutsus are amazing when you can execute them once in the fight (as a finisher, ofc), but it gets preety annoying if you use them 3 or more times during a fight (spamming). The cutscene lasts too long which results in a boring game. That's why CC2 shortened the UJs in later games so they can be used frequently. I also liked later versions cuz of more playable characters, especialy ones that can perform jutsus in a combo (jutsu-oriented fighters) like Kakashi, Minato and other similar characters. This game is not included for the PC so yeah, Revolution rocks this time :)
For everyone wondering why the work on the jutsu's had to be cut back, just compare the amount of characters. The animation, particle effect and camera work alone is staggering. But for me also my favourite Naruto game.

This was the best Naruto game I've ever played. The gameplay and the story mode was just awesome! The other ninja storms aren't as good as this one.
This one really should've had Zabuza and Haku, and every single NUNS game should've had the Sound 4 as playable characters.

As a quote to someone else's explanation: Naruto used the Chakra cloak of the Nine Tails as a shield to maintain the shape of the Rasengan. So, he was able to focus on the power and rotation aspects. The reason Naruto uses clones is to act just like the chakra cloak, he himself can focus on Power and Rotation, and his clones do the Chakra control. Making the process easier for himself. The Kyuubi Chakra mode Naruto has chakra hands do that process as well. Hope this helped.

I never understood why Sakura never got her own jutsu after all this time. She is not only a main character, but she is surrounded by the most powerful shinobi in the village, you'd think she would have picked something up
At this point in the story, now as an adult Sakura has her Thousand Strength Seal and her Chakra enhanced strength as offensive techniques, but back in the old days of classic Naruto, before she trained with Tsunade, Sakura barely had the basics of any Shinobi, the only thing special about her then was her Inner Sakura, which was basically the living manifestation of her horrible and dangerous temperament. 😅

Man, it's like they aren't even trying anymore. This and the Ultimate Ninja games on PS2 had the great cinematic specials. They even have Awakening specials. This one will always be my favorite Storm game.
Ultimate Justus are batter in this game and longer for some characters specially fifth hokage and jiraya their special justsus are batter than new games more cinematic and details love it give the game 9/10
Defenetly best storm according to jutsu and ultimate jutsus. Each one with its own cinematic, sound track and even the effects of the ultimate ( Ino poison for example or Hiruzen Shiki fujin ). I miss this effort they put in gameplay and not only story mode. Anyways, not gonna blame the developers cuz since storm 3 The roster went to another level and it would have been a lot of work.

I just don't understand how we went from THIS to storm 2 and 3, I thought people progress as they do stuff CC2 has regressed so much, and they put a whole bunch of other shit in there that we don't care for, I mean I'm still gonna buy the games but shit man -_-

Awl man you missed out! This is the best storm game (gameplay wise) you could clash jutsu's like a rasengan vs chidori, dynamic entry vs raikiri, fireball jutsu vs waterdragon jutsu, fight on WALLS! Start the match in awakening mode! Man that game is legendary!! And u can select MULTIPLE jutsus for each character!! If u have a ps3 u need that game

People who say storm 4's attacks are cooler (See's storm's attacks compared to storm 4 and shortage in character's ninjutsu like Sasuke pt1) damn well at least they didn't get lazy with storm 4 and make them shorter (sees attack animations for storm 1) god dammit well at least storm 4 still has a great damage amount (looks at health bars) Fuck well at least storm 4 attacks still look cooler (see's all pt1 Sasuke's Chidori's) OK WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE GUYS DOING

When I first got Storm 3(my first Storm game) I didnt know anything about the game other than the story and I was playing Ultimate Ninja 5 before so i was expecting it to be kinda the same, then I used Sasori's Ultimate Jutsu thinking Id crush my enemy but no. I was like "THATS IT" I tried others and I was surprised of how short these Ultimates are. It took me a few weeks to get used to that fact, however Storm 3 was still fun.

due to online play bullshit imagine button inputs when someone has a laggy connection, the jutsus are also shorter as is the health bar in storm 3 in order to shorten match time (online)

the fast button pushing is similar to Budokai 2 and 3 except you're pressing all of the buttons in the left section and not only one button and i want to know if this is on Xbox 360 because this is on my list of Xbox 360 titles i want this year.

Ah the good old days when their were no substitution bars and the game was fun an only the skilled elites stood on top. I wish that could I get back this game with more characters with Lee being toned down a little bit and Itachi Tsukuyomi awakening being shorter in duration. This was perfect yes it had its flaws but the good aspects out shine the flaws

Just recently been playing the new storm 4 dlc. It's really cool that thy finally included the sound four but gameplay wise all I can say is...where the fuck did they go wrong?

@Sub Saibot Actually, to me the whole Open-Konoha aspect in the first game was just super boring and the way they did the Storytelling in Storm 1 was pretty bad as well. I think that the following entries actually improved in that regard. I was kinda bummed about the shorter animations for the Ultimate Jutsus as well, but after a while I started to like them. I remembered thatr I didn't use the Ultimate Jutsus in Storm 1 after a while since I got kinda annoyed watching those long animations again and again. They definitely looked cool, but I didn't want to sit through them again after the fifth time I saw them.
Actually, I have a question. A while back this game had an official website. Now I can't find it. What ever happened to it?

They should've made a choice of multiple Ultimate Jutsus that will only be unlocked depending on the progress of the game, also should've made support-only characters playable.
How come Ultimate ninja storm 1 has awakening mode ultimate jutsu, but not 2,3 and Revolution.
