Morning Dan, another cracking video mate. You really are a granny's delight as you'll both try and eat virtually everything. We just watched this after our daily walk and I now feel ravenous for some lunch. Just wish we had such culinary wonders on every corner here in crappy old England. Have a good day. Alright brother, I saw your struggle when you were ordering drink. Let me help you. Any local restaurants or food stalls you go, if they make drinks, usually these are the basic drinks they'll have(if they have any special drinks other than these, usually they'll advertise it in the shop/stall):
-Coffee/kopi (local coffee, the beans are roasted with margarine, salt and sometimes sugar. They will also have Nescafe but you must ask for it)
    -Tea/Teh
    -Lemon Tea
    -Milo
-Calamansi/limau(you can ask to add Asamboi, which is preserved prune. It goes very well with calamansi)
    Rose Syrup/sirap
    Rose syrup with lime/sirap limau
Rose milk/Bandung(rose syrup with condensed and evaporated milk)
If you are in a chinese shop/food court, they'll have all of the above and also:
    -Barley
    -Chrysanthemum tea/Teh Bunga
    -Chinese tea
-Ambra(it's a fruit, you should try it)
-Luo Han Guo(preserved monk fruit in a drink. refreshing)
Ok, this is all I can get from top of my head. Please add in the comments if I missed anything guys.
Have an awesome adventure Dan! Goodspeed.

Thank you so much 🙏 I've screenshot this, as it's too much to remember haha. I ask now ask for kopi krosont? I hear them say this but I have no idea how it is spelt 🤣 coffee with no sugar or milk?

    • @torrothebear7240
      @torrothebear7240 2 роки тому +2

@@DanvsFood lol it's kopi kosong. Kosong meaning zero/empty. This is how we order our drinks,
Eg: coffee w. Milk and sugar - Kopi ice/panas(hot)
black coffee with sugar - kopi 'O
black coffee no sugar - kopi 'O kosong.
You can order this way for any drinks with milk like tea, milo etc ✌🏽

lots of topping especially chicken/salty egg are a bit salty is because the chicken has to be eaten with rice. it will tone down the salty. dont eat chicken/salty egg itself if you dont like their salty taste

Hi Dan. Love watching your videos. I’d love to show you a great seafood place in tanjung sepat if you have the time while you’re here in Malaysia. It’s in Selangor. About 1 hour drive from Petaling Jaya. Do hit me up if you’re keen.

Hi Dan - Asian world traveler here - haven't traveled since Indonesia in 2019 - been watching and enjoying your food videos very much!
But I can't eat chile spicy but love all other spices. Would appreciate if you could mentione for any food where you are adding chiles such as sambal, how it tastes before you add it for us non-spicy lovers to know if we'd enjoy it!
This place was 35 minutes from the centre of where?
    Thanks.

A lot of the dishes here aren't cooked with chilli, you can just add chilli products to your liking and personal preference 😋
