I’m a huge fan of Savita. We agree about 90% of the time. Fed probably won’t cut. This
"We've seen some layoffs but it's nothing to write home about." What a tone-deaf thing to say. It's certainly something to write home about if you were one of the people that lost their job due to corporate greed.
Here's how to be a senior financial analyst in this market:
1. Tell investors there are 7 or possibly 1 interest rate cut/s coming this year so they should keep buying stocks
2. Pick up shovel
3. Dig hole in sand
4. Place head in hole
5. Fill in hole with sand
6. Wait for inflation to keep going down
7. Wait for inflation to stop going up
8. Wait for inflation to stop going up even more
9. Hope the Fed aren't forced to hike rates instead to tackle resurging inflation

With the upcoming EV onslaught from China, all EV makers including Tesla will be in troubles.
With that unique solar angle, Aptera may prosper, and may set a new direction for alternative energy vehicles, especially with the promise of advance Perovskite solar panels.
Some astute investors will see it.
Btw, the theoretical limit of silicon panels is 29% and that of Perovskite panels is about 48%. The current solar panels on Aptera is about 22% I believe.

So they are basically starting to see some bad indicators but "not that bad". The market can be late but at the end of the day it's always right. I hope I'm wrong but it seems like it's just late.

No they're not insolvent. They have capital that's above the regulatory requirements. And the unrealized losses are on maturities they don't have to sell. So they can hold on until losses reverse because of rate changes
