- 12-year-old Riley Ann Taylor recently lost her grandfather, who died right in front of her while teaching her how to play soccer. She soon finds a portal leading to the place people talk about but never see: Heaven. She gains a miraculous healing ability and uses it to help those who are sick but soon gains the diseases these people and animals had. You know what they say, every good thing comes with a price.

God wasn't mentioned. He did not do the healing, they claimed a dead grandpa did and that if she heals, she'll die. How do you get that God is good out of that? this movie was terrible I honestly am not understanding any of these comments.

God works His miracles, through those of us He chooses, as well as God works His own miracle's on His accord.
That is what you may have missed, as that is what happened years ago in the Old & New Testament.
God used Moses, Abraham, His chosen Prophets, Prophetesses & Jesus Disciples to guide, heal & cleanse many, from satan's evil familiar spirit's.
Any blessing or miracle, is from Our Father God in Heaven.
Remember in the New Testament how Jesus, taught & told His Disciples all they had, to do was to believe in God to heal & help cleanse others from familiar spirits?
Member too that at first, they were not able to heal, or banish the evil familiar spirits?
They struggled bc, their true faith wasn't strong enough but, they finally understood Jesus explaining it only takes faith, as small as a mustard seed.
They were then able, to do the work of God, that Jesus came to do, to help save many souls, for God of unbelievers but, Jesus also healed along His walk.
They too were able heal & banish the demon's/familiar spirits.
Jesus also before He left Blessed them ALL & ALL of us, whom truly believe, with His/Our Father God's Holy Spirit, to be with us All until He returns again.

But THAT is not my complaint. You are confused by what i said. And I am not sure what your sermon to me is all about, but your sermon contradicted your point.

Everything in life has its price and what is referred to in the introduction as 'special folk' could equally be labelled as 'suffering folk.' It's almost as though one's own pains are endless and push the severely pained into a much better world. Seeing / hearing spirit, and possibly also seeing a little of their world, is beautiful but few would choose to pay the price for experiencing such. Rejoice in your own world as it's largely where you are meant to be in this incarnation. P.S. Joanna Cassidy looks lovely.

I wish parents understood how violating their sacred oath of marriage and divorcing the person they said they would love for the rest of their life destroys their family, which often leads to many destructive habits of drug and alcohol abuse for their kids, prostitution/pornography for girls, low self-esteem, generational dysfunction including more divorces in the family, etc.

I liked the movie but didn’t like the kids’ mom. She was so angry and hateful to everyone, especially to her mother. She wasn’t very kind or understanding to her daughter either. She was very, very selfish!!!!🤬🤬

Great movie...but the only thing I disagreed with is where the healing came from. The healings did not come from the little girl. The power from the healings came from the Holy Spirit or Jesus.

So Dead people heal others thru their grand daughter, making her sick and she dies. And so does the animals that were healed. How is that God's love or a perfect gift. that movie was senseless and unbiblical. And it's forbidden in the Bible to speak to dead people

The Bible tells us to heal the sick in Jesus name, not grandpa's name.
There are no consequences is healing, you get murdered by a dead grandpa for "helping people."

6 minutes in, nearly stopped watching. Read some comments and decided to persevere. Hope it turns out better than expected.
Update: Just finished watching and I’m glad that I did. The message was good, but it seemed that the script didn’t permit the name of God to be used. Angels are great, but they don’t give the gifts, God does.
Although on the surface of this movie, it was very nice, it disturbed me for several reasons. This mother disturbed me greatly. She would probably have had no problem teaching her kids about Santa Claus but she had a problem believing that there is a God and angels? At one point in the movie, she tells her daughter, "Promise me you'll stop helping people." Who does that? Who wants their kids not to help others if possible? And what "consequences" are there for doing the will of God? I mean, who wrote the lines in this movie? They made it seem as if this girl was some kind of freak for being able to heal the sick. If we are Christians, THAT IS OUR RIGHT! According to Mark 16:18. We believers (verses 17 and 18 speak of what the believers will do) "shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover". Grandma was praying to her dead husband, yet speaking about what it says in the Bible in the same breath. The Bible does not point to anyone but God the Father, Jesus the Son, (Who btw, is THE HEALER), and The Holy Spirit. Nowhere does it say to pray to dead husbands. Either you're a believer or you're not. This in-between business is for the birds. The only one who had any sense in the movie was their neighbor, Ben Wilson, who had been healed of blindness. While he was with the parents in the waiting room, the mother said, "I can't save her." Then Ben said, "Best ask The One Who can." Well, AMEN to that, Ben! You're the only one in this whole movie who spoke truth. The movie was very entertaining but it sends people astray from what to believe and who to believe in. It's not Bible-based. (P.S. at the end you hear the voice of Riley talking to an unborn or newborn sibling and she thanks it for looking out for her. Why does nobody want to I've God the credit for what He has done? Smh)
In this movie, she was healed in the end, but healed from absorbing the pain and illness she healed others from, except for blindness, she didn't absorb that because he's the one she was meant to heal.
This was a great movie. Knowing and personally experiencing, not healing others, but feeling them, it is painful..There are consequences to what others believe are blessings

My two cats I have for 18 & 16 years together, each took on my diseases and died from them for me. They would lay by me & push up where my disease was, it felt good, I thought they were trying to rub my back or side. No they were healing me by taking it on themselves. I did cat rescue for 13 years and these two couldn't find a home for, one to mental from past trauma being dumped, the other one her mama ferrel Shiela she brought that last litter to me because they had issues even the cat mother knew they couldn't live with. I see them often & feel them run by & bump into me once in a while. One is in ashes but lives with me, and the other is in the yard buried & lives with me. We own this property. My father's ashes are here as well as a talisman for him to locate his family always. Other realtives have some of his ashes as well. Mom's wanted it too, but didn't change it before she died so her ramains reamin with the realitives in our family area of a cemetary in a box, but she knows and has come here so I know she knows how to get to live familly if she has a need. Love you family, see ya for Christmas & New Year's, all good kind family welcome, just a new place for all of us. Welcome family.!!

I've read and heard about cats helping to heal some conditions. One assisted living has a resident car who has freedom to visit all patients, often helping there ailment. They say the cat remains in the room overnight prior to a resident passing and they don't know how this happens.
It was't my favorite movie, but it was ok. I HATED the fact that they prayed to the grandfather instead of to God.
True, if God is the center of ur life, n parents pray as a family with the kids, everything would be alright. We need to make time for God everyday... the Blessed Mother said: WHEN FAMILIES PRAY TOGETHER, STAYS TOGETHER .
