Am I the only one that thinks it is ironic that Republicans should hold a conference on election integrity with someone who criminally attemtpted to overturn an election?

Internal memos, at Dominion, the company making voting machines, proved votes were being cast in Colorado, from Europe.
Poisoning the well. They want to seed mistrust in elections among voters so when Trump loses again they can say “the election was stolen and we warned it would happen all along”.
Clearly they are planning on trying to steal the election once again. Looks like what Trump learned from his previously attempt is that he should have planned better and earlier.

I'm 71 years old. My first election was when I was 18 years old and I went to the voting location designated. After my first voting experience, I have always voted via "absenteeism voting", i.e., mail in voting. There has never been a controversy until we have experienced a whiny complaint from an immature individual, i.e., TRUMP.

Nebraska Republican politicians used to brag about how mail in voting in Nebraska really helped Republicans. The old isolated rural voters were overwhelmingly Republican, and mail in voting allowed a lot more of them to vote.
Now Nebraska Republican politicians just change the topic when mail in voting comes up, because they are not about to make it harder (many of them would lose their offices without it) but they also don't dare directly oppose Trump.

In Australia, it is compulsory to vote in federal elections, state and local elections. The last time I voted, it took me less than 3 minutes to vote, including queue time. You can also vote up to 2 weeks early. Voting is governed by an independent commission to ensure integrity. If Australia can do it, the US can do it. The problem is, the US doesn’t want to.

FYI In NZ we have to register, but not to vote. Though I can't recall anyone ever being prosecuted. Our local elections (mayor etc) are all by mail (only) with no signature and no ID needed. Never had a problem.
