In the video, 16-year-old Thunberg talks about what she thought of president Trump's tweet about her, and she also comments on the stare that went viral.
The interview was filmed in New York City in September 2019.

I normally can't stand small talk, but I do small talk with my fiancee, we are both introverts.
She is also only 16 and honestly as someone who grew up in Australia with no ozone layer, becoming desensitised to bush fires like they are just a fact of life, coming from a country with the highest rates of skin cancer in the world and seeing in my lifetime at 41 how my countries climate has changed from when I was a kid to now the world needs more people like her. If years ago parts of the ozone layer not existing above a country isn't alarming to the world that climate change is real then I don't know what will.

To the people that accused her parents, you´re all wrong. Her parents had a good life before this!!! They didn´t need this!! I´m not from Sweden, I´m from another country in Europe, but I´m a fan of her mother. When I was 18 in 1971, it was the beginning of my goal to save environment. In the USA there was already a movement, it was then called Ecology. I taught my own seminar, as a sophomore in college, separate from the schools curriculum. It was a non-credit seminar, I held it to find like minded students who wanted to begin finding solutions for recycling. Recycling in the USA, was in its infancy, it was barely known about, or a concern of anyone, except for a few students. It wasn't my job, or something I was learning about in college. I went to college to become a Fine Artist. But this was a personal hobby of mine. I continued to add to that narrative my whole life, and now at age 65,.....I am seeing the world worse off than it has ever been. I, we, made some strides. Recycling has been embraced in most American cities. I helped locally, ( in my adopted home town) with this effort.

Co2s levels of the last warnming period show we are folowing the normal cycle of our planet. What is of great concern for our world is pollution into our water and ocean acidification. More co2 will actually be beneficial to food production.

I can't say that the USA is a worse emitter than Britain because it's total emissions are 6 times the size of Britian. Because I'm not stupid. Because the country is 6 times the population of Britian. If I don't account for the difference in size I get a figure that does not represent the reality that the average American and Briton emit pretty much the same amount. As a kid of the 60's we rode our bikes to school, most kids in the city now jump on diesel buses to go to school on the other end of town. How is that helping? I still ride my bike, the air is a lot cleaner now that we removed lead from gasoline and we have very some good emissions control. We now have electric cars and even bikes because people went to school and learned new technologies, not from protesting.

And then go on, and read more about economic theories, do your research upon what’s going on with the world economy and dig deeper into the history of economics (how certain theories came about and how we solved our problems in the past and learn how we got to where we are today).
Then and only then will you get the full picture of what both Greta Thunberg and Michael Moore are talking about. Stay informed.
