It isn't a matter of "just one slice and it'll be over, the pain will go away" it doesn't. Because ethere are people who care about you. What I did when I picked the brothers option was I realised my mistake, paused the game and when to the start of the checkpoint to redo it

I have heard that the game was originally suppose to have 7 episodes but they shortened it to 5 because they ran out of funding and that's why the ending feels "tacked on"
You can feel it when you play the whole thing through. Four killer good episodes - and then one episode where most story threads get dropped and you just have a bunch of filler. Such a bummer; this is one of the best games I've ever played up till Episode 5.
They kind of funnel the player into two different endings. When I saw the ending it left me with a bad taste in my mouth, not because it was unsatisfactory to have a bad ending, but because it felt kind of abrupt and not much closure.

During my first playthrough I failed... I even tried to go back by reloading the save file but I hadn't gone around her room before to find her favorite bible quote. I was devastated for hours. I got so anxious when I saw her walking towards the dorms during class.

Essentially you can get max suspended when blaming jefferson, madsen or nathan. All you need to do is blame any of them without evidence. E.g. Blame nathan but didn't tell the principal he had a gun, or blame madsen but didn't take the photo of him with kate

I just finished this scene in episode 2 and as someone who was once institutionalized for suicidal ideation this really made me nervous. When i played this game at the second time, i managed to save Kate by using my power of downloading last checkpoint. I made 2 unlucky attempts, before i could do this.
If I couldn’t have saved Kate, I wouldn’t have been able to finish the game. Saving her was truly one of the most rewarding and relieving experiences I’ve ever had playing games.
At first i found Kate annoying and i was like fuck it, let her kill herself (I had a feeling she was going to attempt suicide, the game made it kind of obvious) but once i got to this scene I was so emotionally connected and knew i couldn’t let her do it. Then it got to the three way choice and i stayed on the scene for about 5 minutes before choosing one lol this game is so incredible

I sides to explore with Chloe because the way she worded it it sounded like we’d expand my powers or get a better grip or something important, but I got my price stolen, had to find hella bottles, and had to save Chloe.
