- I've had the stream deck for about a year and its been solid, but I wanted some dials for sound adjustments. After a day using the Loupedeck Live these are my thoughts 🤙🏁

Is it possible to change the rotary switch knobs?
Glad it helped mate, Yep the rotary switches can be setup but just can't change the windows sound function layout when ya hit that button to split all sound 🤙
@Boothys Sim Racin Oh, I actually meant the real caps of the switches, not the software. So is it possible to change the top of it, for example to brake bias cap?
No the physical dials aren't able to be pulled off and changed
Looks good, I can see why you prefer the dials for volume!
I still think the streamdeck does the job, it's a hard choice picking between the two really depends on budget🤙
A year on, have your thoughts changed on either the Stream Deck or Loupedeck Live?
Have you started using the Loupedeck’s dials for in-game functions (i.e. Brake Balance, etc.)?
Would you have considered buying the Stream Deck Plus, rather than the Loupedeck Live, had it been available when you made the purchase?
Tbh I still use both and really only use the dials on loupedeck live for splitting my volumes...I very rarely change brake bias so it's not a big deal...if ya wear gloves buy streamdeck plus, if ya don't get the loupedeck, that's the only thing with my gloves on the loupedeck is touch so it doesn't like gloves

I intend to use such a device for both sim racing and combat flightsims. And I like the form factor of the Loupedeck over the Stream Deck, but the Stream Deck offers better software integration. Especially for flightsims.
Therefore I’m still in two minds about it.
I wouldn't say that, there's specific loupedeck profiles you can download in their app store thingo ( for msfs )
Is it possible to set knobs for tc, ABS? Is it possible to use touchscreen in gloves?
I believe so but will double check tomorrow for ya not home atm, it should but ill test to confirm...yep touch screen works with gloves 👌
Very good good video, I have a Stream deck and it's wonderful, there are profiles that they create exclusively for games, for example ETS2/ATS... I prefer it over a handmade Bottom Box. I would like to buy Loupedeck CT, I would like to know if each can be assigned to the function you want within the games? for example the dials to lower and raise the truck windows in American truck simulator? These types of videos are appreciated.
Stream Deck can do so much but got a bit annoying having to scroll through pages and pages. The loupedeck can be setup with dynamic profiles, meaning specific programs load a different profile of buttons. That's a good idea I do a bit of ATS/ETS2 will have to play around with that.

@@boothys_sim_racin Thanks for your answer, I still have the doubt if all the buttons are assignable within American Truck or Euro Truck, can you try what I tell you? to assign Dials and other Buttons within those games? I thank you in advance.
In theory it should because same as streamdeck will just have to assign a keyboard command to the dial direction, will try it tomorrow ✌️

So, question, is this Loupedeck also usable as a real buttonbox or do I still need one seperate from this more like a stream panel to give input for all kind of Settings apart of the racing stuff?
Loupedeck / streamdeck really do the same thing I still use both. Is quite nice having dials to split volumes etc but the touch screen isn't so friendly for the current gloves im using. Hope that helps 🤙🏁
