    We really liked this video as it shows passages aren't always awesome (as in easy). It also sounds like you had a great crew for this rather roley passage. Great idea sharing the registration segment! Tomorrow, finally, our sailboat goes into the water 🤗

I am currently on a Japanese Registered Boat in Tokyo preparing for a solo crossing to Vancouver in 2022 and may have to change my registration due to issues taking a JP registered boat off shore. So I was considering changing to a Canadian Registration but you have introduced a new option. Thank again

    • @DistantShoresTV
      @DistantShoresTV  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks for your comment, Peter. We did our best to film this which was challenging in the dark while minding the ship at the same time and showed how we used AIS to track ship movement which we have a lot of experience with. Due to the weather forecast we felt it was safer to get in rather that night rather than keep the crew out for another night amidst a lot of moving traffic. We got the okay from port control and the channels are well marked and lit into the canal and Shelter Bay Marina. Hope this answers your question.
