Lost my best friend 4 years ago and idk how many times I listened to this album on repeat the day I got that phone call from his fiance. Especially the song AFK .... me and my buddy CG would listen to pinback religiously awaiting every minnesota winter to snowboard.. our pinback journey started with Penelope. It was featured on on snowboarding video one year and we were hooked!! 🤘 When he passed I didn't even second guess it. I knew what needed to be played.... AFK...."I can't talk to you anymore....and I miss you".. he would have played the same for me. Don't stop being you PINBACK! Your music Saved my life! Thank you! 🙏
These songs were the anthem of my childhood. I'll always miss my friends, some of which have passed, some of which have moved on, some of which I've moved on from. It expresses a quiet suburban melancholy that touched us all back in those days.
Best album to drive to
I get such a warm feeling in my heart when I listen to this. It reminds me of a decade ago when I was on my 20s. Now I get the chills when I listen to these songs

Love this band. Saw them once at Fitzgeralds here in Htown. I remember noting that they had beards. I dont really like beards. Not in November or in August. I wanna be in a band someday, but I would never travel around in a fuckin tour bus. I know theyre very comfortable,. but you could like fall off the side of a mountain or stuff like that. Do a Cliff Burton. Did you know that Robert Smith, the Cure guy, does not fly. I am also, since having watched a documentary about a plane that it took 2 years to find it at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean perhaps afraid to fly. Altough it is safer than highway travel, statistically. I took the wrong Metro bus the other day, was chatting GP up the driver and didnt notice I was going in the wrong direction. I had lunch at the only restaurant in Hobby Airport. Its so funny that its like a joke of an airport. I saw 2 dudes with AR-30s and chatted them up. Its not in the phrase, its not in the language that we used to talk. Man this is such mellow music, anyways - uh yeah I think it would be cool if I hung out at HObby and some chick picked me up and threw me into one of those little 767s - its all Southwest Airlines there and took me on a real date!! MY friend was effin with me the other day after I texted her that I got a job at Family Dollar - she said I should quit and find a sugar momma. What??/ Like its easy? I wanna go to Harvard Law.. ok bye bye
